The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel's location is very convenient to the heart of Lyon - the old town, the main dining area, the major plazas - and was also close to transit for destinations farther afield. Yet despite its central location, it was peaceful and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The A/C is controlled from the front desk rather than by the guest in the room - hard to say if it was set too warm or just weak. (Luckily the weather wasn't too hot.) No refrigerator in the room (but staff let us put some food in a fridge behind the reception area). The WiFi provider was terrible - you had to go through a cumbersome and time-wasting login several times a day, even within minutes of having just done it.

The location is very good and the place is easy to find. It was good value for the price.
They say they have staff there 24 hours in case you come late they’ll open the door for you. Well that is not true. Was locked out for what felt like
