They are very uncaring and offer inadequate service!They are very crooked there!!

The restaurants are nice but the food is limited not many choices it is only 2 restaurants on the property but the other one you must pay 44.00 Dollars just to enter but you get 44.00 dollars to use in food in beverage it is a nice place called Santa Fe

I don’t know where to began JUST BEWARE I need everyone to know of the bug infestation so we had to leave early and the management did nothing to help us ! They treated us horribly never solved anything I even gave them a chance to work with them but they do not care they are all about taking your money and not offering good service. I’ve traveled all over the world on summer vacation with my children every summer but this was the WORST place I’ve ever visited!!!! Let me start I arrived on August 2, 2023 at 5am in the morning at SOV I had Villa number 51 in which I hope the owner is aware of the conditions there. Upon arrival there was roach in the master suite in which my son was discussed I told him don’t make a big deal of it I will speak to the management about it in the morning. There were no wash clothes in the the villa I had a party of 6 and had 4 old ripped towels I politely asked the management for wash cloths and towels for 2 days they just ignored my request. That was a small thing I really expected to for things to get better and I told them that… But 4 days in my daughter opened up the bathroom and there was a cockroach I thought she was playing but sure enough it was there later on we opened up the cabinet under the sink and there was another cockroach I was furious!!! I went to the manager again and all the did was offer excuses “ oh it’s probably cause you on the first floor, “ I told them the conditions are unacceptable and I did not pay 1,866 dollars for these type of conditions they said someone would come to fumigate. I also had-ants all throughout the kitchen could not control them everyday. They sent house keeping but That did not control them. Oh be aware they don’t tell there is NO AiR CONDITIONING in the living and kitchen so it really impossible to cook the excuse they offer for that is that they didn’t advertise AC I’m the common areas. It was the worst vacation ever!!!! I could go on but now I will let the photos speak for themselves.

I enjoyed my stay and the staff was great with all i needed, especially fixing my tv for the game

The breakfast was great, @ maria restaurant, and the location right off the water was beautiful, the staff was polite and attentive and i enjoyed myself, so much i went a second time for breakfast, overall i was very please with the food the staff and the scenery location.

was looking for turkey bacon or turkey sausage, however i was brought and alternative of fried steak with peppers and onions which i thought was great, and it satisfied my need.

Great place for the value. I can't wait to go back with the family.

There were plenty of pools all around SOV. You could spend the whole day moving from one to another and changing the scene and the view every time.

The only "issue" we faced was with a visiting group that brought loud music and alcoholic beverages to the common pool. So we decided to move to another pool with our kids. But that didn't last long. We guess someone took care of it. But it would be go to advice visitors in advance about what should be he proper behavior in common pools.

pools were nice.

rude staff. had someone else living in a room of the house. did not receive rooms or house that was in reservation. doors would not lock. did not feel safe. living room and kitchen were extremely hot. not enough beds and beds were wrong sized. was charged extra for having my children with me.

Disappointed in the villa for the price we paid. The best part was the infinity pool.

Infinity pool and view were excellent. Restaurant and reception staff were friendly. Service was good.

Restaurant was a bit expensive. Only one restaurant was an inconvenience. Gym cardio machines were disappointing. Towels were old and ripped and were stiff and hard to the touch. Only one beach towel was provided. Villa was not located in a convenient area. Would have been nice if the villa had coffee and filters. The 5 gallon bottles of water were left on the villa floor and no water cooler was provided.

very disappointed with maintenance service

pool, safe neighbour, quiet, dog friendly, small quiet beach

the basics: Missing towels, no garbage bags, no toilet paper which we were told we should have. maintenance/repairs issues with the condo were ridiculous the handy man who was responsible to come repair was arrogant and didn’t. say a word to us .. so we never knew if the problem was solved or not. AC broken in 2 rooms took time to get fixed patio door broken , wouldn’t lock (1st night) major flood on upper level which reached our condo and ceiling collapsed with water everywhere ( no one came to see us to help us clean or tell us what or how they would deal with the situation ! spent hours putting towels everywhere on the floor to stop the water from spreading from hall way to bathroom to bedroom ceilings I was not on vacation to take care of this type of mess !!!!!! I couldn’t believe I needed to ask for a cleaning service to come help because no one was monitoring or checking the damage in our condo! it smelled mildew and damp. we also couldn’t use our washer and dryer because the breaker kept jumping every time we would try to do a wash or use the dryer. I would expect some type of compensation , all these problèmes persisted for more than 1/2 of our stay. if you want to ignore my message this is your choice but I have several photos of all the damage that happened when we were there, it’s easy to post a very bad review back in Canada … I have nothing positive to say about the condition of the condo that’s for sure …

nice community poor maintenance

the community is gated, safe, has a nice gym, beautiful houses, and restaurant / pool area pretty nice.

property lacks of maintenance and cleaning required. we had problems with water leaks, cockroaches found in several places, replacement of toilet paper or garbage pick up, lack of basic kitchen supplies required, no baking tools or supplies, no toaster, no pan, no Pyrex, no trays. water leaking in the toilet. Staff did the best to try to mitigate the issues but there were so many issues that makes hard to keep up. gym is not included, $25 per day limited to max 3 hours in certain windows frames was the only options. Normally the gym is part of any resort! I Should reinforce that the staff did the best to remedy all issues found. And in general the people in the island is pretty nice and always trying to help.

Nice place but lacks of the required maintenance and the basic kitchen supplies

the community is gated, safe, nice houses around and nice restaurant pool area.

the property lack of good maintenance. We have problems with internet, hot water, gas supply for stove, water pressure at the shower, kitchen lacks of basic cooking supplies like pans, bakery tools, toaster. Dryer was not working, oven was not properly working. The worse was the cleaning, we found cockroaches... inclusive one was found in the coffee maker !!!. I should mention that the SOV staff did the best effort to solve or mitigate the issues. In my opinion things like the gym should not be charged separated from the resort because any resort now days offers a gym.

Good Location but needs improvements

The property is located in a great location near Beach Alicia, Supermarket, Pharmacy and Restaurant. The property was also very clean.

There is no air conditioning in the common area where the kitchen and living room are located which makes it impossible to enjoy. The wifi does not reach the rooms. The booking said the villa was for up to 8 people but there are only beds for 6. There are a lot of wild cats that come to the villa and try to get in the kitchen area, it was stressful trying to keep them out.

Passable

The charge 2 x. One time with booking.com and when I arrived the charging again and a extra security deposit. The deposit not on hold. Then the show a signed document that the return the double payment back to the bankaccount. On the homepage from booking is not any Information for this procedure. The security Team in the Gate don’t know to handle arriving costumer. The don’t care and will send us back. After I called the receptionist direct the solved the problem. For this property not a good reputation.
