Garden By The Sea

We were a big group with adults and many kids, and the place was perfect for us, especially since each room has privacy and it's own shower and toilet. The location is great, short walk to the beach, 5 minutes drive from Sirena -the supermarket. Nicky was a great and patient host. Highly recommended.

Nikki is a wonderful host and has a beautiful property that is extremely well maintained. Her three cats and one small dog are very friendly. Located beyond a security gate in a private neighbourhood (also a con!). The rooms are first rate, well equipped and well maintained. So clean! Beautiful linens and towels. Very generous with pillows and towels. Good and quiet AC. In addition to the small in-room kitchenette there is a shared kitchen for guest use. Beautiful pool, pool deck with gorgeous loungers and tables and chairs, and garden. We saw two Hispaniola woodpeckers and a tiny Vervain hummingbird right from the pool deck. Very quiet.... but depends on the courtesy of your neighbours. Breakfast available for extra charge with a different option for every day of the week and weekend. I would stay here again, especially over a weekend as is so quiet and other parts of the DR can be very noisy.

Located beyond a security gate in a private neighbourhood (also a pro!). No where to walk to dinner and driving back in the dark can be a bit dodgy. Both days, the with-in walking distance beach was too rough for us to go swimming!!

Nikki has created the cosiest and most relaxing oasis here! Such a beautiful place and the rooms are absolutely stunning. It’s only a short walk down to a beach, which we had all by ourselves the day we went. We enjoyed so much relaxing by the pool with Bella the dog and the cats! Would love to come back!
