Location was incredible -- personally don't understand why people stay in Akakura Onsen for skiing when they can stay here and ski in and ski out and buy lift tickets at the front desk. Maybe the best onsen of the various places I stayed on my trip. The staff is helpful and there is almost always an English speaker available to help with whatever you need. Small but very comfortable rooms.

Graceful resort with beautiful food on offer. Shuttle bus to and from train station and village was very convenient. Ski hire equipment and storage lockers onsite made everything so easy.
