Quiet and peaceful place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. Their food is so good and it is really nice to have dinner on the terrace and not have to drive home afterwards. We spent a day in Siena on the way here (a 70 minute drive), went to Florence (40 minute drive to parking close to the city center) the second day and had a “zero day” on their property our third day, walking the vineyard and relaxing by the pool. Lovely breakfasts on the terrace with a panoramic view.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Savernano. The staff were incredibly kind, gentle and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful and very well kept, with an excellent view over the Tuscan countryside. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended.
There was honestly nothing we didn’t like. Everything was perfect — the place, the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful views, and especially the kindness of the staff. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.

We had an amazing week staying at Savernano. Great wine, great food and the pool area was often empty which was bliss for us! They also have dogs, which we love, and other animals around the property. I particularly loved that now and again the donkeys might greet you and pop up at the side of the pool area whilst they are grazing - its super cute! This is a family run hotel and they are super friendly, even giving us a little tour of how they make their wine in the cellar. We noticed they have a lot of repeat guests, who have been coming for years - which really says something about this wonderful place and the people here. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the home cooking every night was delicious. Each morning you take a look at the menu in reception and see if its something you fancy that day. We were sad to leave but bought some of their wine, olive oil and even a little bit of Prosecco! Thank you Savernano!
The bed and pillows were not comfortable for us - this was the only downside! We drove here from the Netherlands and you definitely need a car to stay here, or you will feel very secluded, but this was not a problem for us (they also have electric car charging which was a win!). There are local small towns nearby, but the nearest big city is Florence which was about 40 min to an hour drive, and Siena was about an hour and a half.
