This beautiful "agroturismo" guarantees a pleasant stay. It is a place to truly unwind... The staff are friendly, the grounds are impeccably maintained, and the pool area is clean and inviting, offering a stunning view of Pienza. We were bothered a lot by mosquitoes by the pool (my daughter, who is very attracted to them, ran off). But there is little you can do about that (it is an "agroturismo," after all). My son and I were less bothered by them. Like the rest of the property, the room was spotless, except for the air conditioning (the vents were in desperate need of cleaning, though that was the only downside). The room features a large bathroom with a good shower, although we found the bed a bit on the soft side (a matter of personal preference). However, the room itself (excluding the bathroom) is quite small. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night, but if we return for a longer stay, we would look for a larger room. There is a good restaurant serving excellent wines; be sure to try the Brunello "Riserva." A whole bottle is very pricey, but a glass is worth it!
What was disappointing? You can read part of that between the lines above. Furthermore, you need to get used to hostess Bertina a bit. At first she seems more an armyofficer than a hostess to be fare. The check-in didn't go smoothly, but that was my fault because I hadn't noted my name on the booking, so the hostess couldn't find our booking – of course, they could have asked me for my name after the booking... anyway. Once you are a bit more familiar with her, you understand that Bertina also needs to get a bit familiar with you. She is decisive, straightforward, but not unfriendly, and you can ask her anything. Perhaps the leader necessary for the organization of a good accommodation like this.

I really loved the location, the breakfast, the dinner, the pool area with an amazing Tuscan view. Bertina the manager is very kind and knowledgeable. She makes you feel at home

Close to the street, noisy. Breakfast poor and rooms not up to the standard for 4* hotel.
