We liked the location and the greeters at the desk at V399. Also the pool was very nice. From there it was all downhill. We had booked room 307 but were placed in room 403. So our review is based solely on the room we stayed in NOT room 307! The kicker is we had to pay our money in cash at a motel type facility and then walk the last couple of blocks to V399!

The lighting in both bathroom was horrible! The entire place was not cleaned very well. The refrigerator froze all the food that was placed into it even at the warmest setting. The water spout on the freezer door did not work. The washing machine did not work properly during our entire stay. The “shag” carpeting in the living room was in a word NASTY! Ants were in and around the carpet constantly.

Best place we've ever stayed in Vallarta!

Super quiet at night. Very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Beautiful and secure building with an elevator and private security. We loved having a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, and a washer and dryer in the unit. Responsive staff at Hotel Posada de Roger. Very easy to get housekeeping services whenever you want them. The rooftop pool was nice, never crowded, and always clean. Great coffee shop and awesome taco stand right across the street (try the machaca at Tia Peras)! 5 minute walk to the beach. Perfect location in the romantic zone. We will definitely be staying here, again.

Our only complaint was that the hot tub was not working during our stay.

Very good

A nice spacious and clean apartment. The bed took a couple of nights getting used to, then it was fine. It wouldn't hurt to replace the mattress at some point. Overall a great place to stay. Would choose it again. Loved the spacious balcony. The 2 bathrooms. I'm a light sleeper, and I was glad to have earplugs with me. Without them my nights would have been quite disturbed. The location is very central. And while that is great and what we wanted, there is also a fair amount or a lot of noise from the streets.

The condo is great and has great views of the city and a partial (distant) view of the ocean.

The location is ideal right in the heart of the Zona Romatica!

The egg foam topper needs to be removed from the bed or, if the host feels some kind of mattress protection is necessary, then it needs to be replace with a quality mattress topper. The egg foam is really uncomfortable.

Convenient location - Secure building - Quiet nights

Excellent location within easy walking distance of every place I wanted to go. Easy walk to the beach, but virtually in the center of Zona Romantica. I like the proximity to restaurants without the noise of the late night clubs.

Would love to go back someday.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Zona Romantica. Plenty of beach, shows, restaurants, and shopping all within a couple of blocks. One of us had mobility issues, so the nice elevator was a must. And of course the rooftop pool was always a total treat!

There was some street noise from nearby construction and music from establishments in the area, but suspect that is true for most locations in the zone. It was hit and miss in terms of how much of a bother it was, but usually it wasn't bad at all.

Diamond needs a little polish.

Location, location, location. The security was awesome. I learned to walk again, enjoyed! The heat gets hot late morning, I was in pool with a cold one. The individuals that work the entrance to the condo are great to get to know. Freddy Toucan restaurant on the corner makes a great breakfast, fantastic lunch and a mean drink, very much do go there. Across the street from Toucan's is another restaurant that is only open during the evening (Mexican Only) get several tacos and load them up at the fixing table. Had live music at that place. Next to the evening restaurant is a bakery, the nut muffin (dark cake cooked in red baker's paper) with a cup of coffee is great for any time. Freddy Toucans opens at 8:00 but the bakery is open earlier.

The living room furniture is showing its age. Its needs to be clean, the coffee table has water spots that is lifting vinal off the pressboard. A bit tackey. The bathroom lavatory off the bedroom needs to be freed up as the water goes down slowly. Changing out the living room table and cleaning the upholstery and clean out the drain on the bathroom sink would have rendered a much higher evaluation. The rest of the unit is great, I would buy it.

Great stay downtown

We were put into unit 403 instead of 307. It was a lovely, spacious unit and supposedly better than 307. The terrace actually had a view of the ocean, was quite large with 4 chairs, lounge chair and umbrella. The central location was wonderful, close to everything. The rooftop pool and lounge had a great ocean and mountain view. The check in process at Posada Roger was very efficient . Cleaning was included. The wi-fi was excellent. We would definitely rent this unit again.

The pool was under maintenance while we were there so it was only half-full. The unit was cleaned well, linens changed but I did notice some of the baseboards hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. We tried to use the oven but couldn’t figure out how to turn it on. Instructions would be helpful.

Perfect flat for enjoying dining and entertainment of the city

Hotel very professional and friendly staff. Staff provided tour of flat and answered our questions. Hotel staff wonderful resource with information and assistance.

Staff were nice and friebdly; made me feel welcome.

Location was convenient to everything I needed. Nice place for breakfast or lunch across from the property (Azul Cafe). Construction in a unit two levels above me got noisy at times. Temporary, and that unit is on the market now. Liked unit 307. Used the balcony each day. Hope to stay there on my next trip.

Furniture could be updated. Fabric on armrests could be cleaned. Mattress was too firm for me.

Beautiful apartment. Super clean and spacious. Amazing view and sunset from the roof (great shallow pool and tanning/bbq area). Comfy bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Security guard at door. Under 10 mins walk to beach. Around d the corner from bars and restaurants.

It is a little on the expensive side.

I liked that it made me feel safe. I like the 2 patios, the natural light. The washer and dryer. The 2 restrooms and the kitchen.

I would say is that I couldn’t drink beer at the pool. I had to exit the pool and drink then go back to the pool.

Great location and housekeeping!

Location was great. Only steps away from the busy Old Town but the room is on a relatively quiet street. Housekeeping was superb and prompt. You have to arrange that at Posada de Roger.

Pillows were lumpy and should be replaced.

Perfect spot

The rooftop was a beautiful escape for some sun and quiet. The location puts you right in the middle of things without the noise. I loved that our unit faced a side street

The tv in the bedroom doesn’t work oh well

Amazing nine days at V399

The location could not have been better. There were actually two full bathrooms. Very spacious. Easy check in process at Hotel Posada de Roger.

Everything was wonderful.
