I had the most amazing time here! I enjoyed the food, the people, the village, the pool, my room etc. It was so good that I decided to come back and added a few extra days to my stay. It’s magical! As a female solo traveler I felt welcome, safe and taken care for.

The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The accommodation was a true dream, with a beautiful private garden overlooking the sea. The pool area was stunning, and the unique jungle location made the whole experience even more special. I absolutely loved my stay.

Excellent location for rest and solitude away from the tourist bustling of north and west Zanzibar amazing. Set in a forest of Baobab trees, the lodge is within walking distance of a traditional village and the spectacular turtle caves. The reef for snorkelling etc is only 100m from the private and secure beach - unlike the west coast where the beach is endless and the reef is a km away and only suitable for swimming at high tide. The accomodation huts with thatched roofs is exotic and comfortable with sea views even from an additional outside bathroom! Food (my favourite was grilled octopus) and service was very good with commendations to Angel, Adani and Sokani, a proud Masai man. Certainly worth checking out for a short stay. You will not be disappointed but rather totally thrilled!

L'hôtel est un vrai petit paradis. Le personnel est bienveillant et très serviable. Les chambres avec la terrasse sont parfaites. Le restaurant est excellent.
