I would give Villa Ensoleille 20 points if I could. It was hands-down the best place I've stayed in my 30+ years in Japan. I stayed for a week, and wished I could have stayed longer. The host, his wife and his mother were so kind, I wanted to adopt them. They went way out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and wanted. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and the bath with the jacuzzi was heaven. The view of Mount Fuji was beautiful. It was quiet. Even when five people were staying in the adjacent unit, I never heard a sound. The cleanliness was beyond description. There are wall outlets everywhere and the Wifi is strong. I'm already wondering when I can go back.

Excellent location for views of Mount Fuji and relaxation. The hosts are extremely kind and attentive to every need. The villa is very well equipped and extremely clean.

Location is great - on the north side of Lake Kawaguchiko, which is quieter and more rustic.
The host is excellent - Hiroyuki-san took the trouble to give us recommendations for food & attractions in the neighbourhood, and also showed us how to operate items around the house.
Laundry facilities are in the reception building - both washing machine and dryer are available.
Parking is plentiful. Loved the view of Mt Fuji from the main bedroom and bathroom!
Would have been nice to have more shelves or hanging space for clothes in the bedrooms, but that's just a small matter. Everything else was great!
