About this villa rental
Fantastic stone villa situated in Fraginesi, Scopello.
The villa is equipped with all necessary services to let you enjoy a relaxing holiday.
It results from the renovation of 2 ancient stone farmhouses sleep 13 (ask for extra beds).
The access is through the driveway opened onto the private parking for max 4 cars. Opposite the villa there is the main entrance and an equipped veranda with some sofas, if you want to relax!
At the back of the house there is a beautiful garden with typical plants of the region and a solarium area with a fabulous swimming pool 12x5 m accessible from a Roman staircase.
There is also an outdoor veranda linked to the kitchen of the villa, in which you can dine and relax.
Inside the house the furnishings are elegant: as you enter you find a big sitting room with modern kitchen equipped with all necessary cookware, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction kitchenette, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster etc.
On the ground floor there is a master bedroom with en suite bathroom.
From a staircase with glass steps you enter the mezzanine floor with bookcase, comfortable sofa, armchair, smart satellite tv with Sky 3D, dvd player. From here you get to the outdoor balcony equipped with comfortable sofas for your relaxing evenings.
On this floor there is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
In the other room of the ground floor there is a small guest bathroom with washing machine and access to other 2 bedrooms…
The first one is composed of 2 single beds and private bathroom, while the second one is equipped for 1 disabled person with private bathroom, 1 master bed and 1 single bed.
On the upper floor you will find 2 master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and access to balcony.
In this room it is possible to add, upon request, some single beds.
The house is fully fenced and equipped with alarm system and video surveillance, offering you a total sense of security.
The nearest beach is “Baia Guidaloca”, where there are some equipped and well organized resorts. It is 1 km away!
The maritime village of Castellammare del Golfo is 2.5 km away, while Scopello, the Natural Reserve of Zingaro, the ancient Tonnara and the sea stacks are 4 km away.
The villa is ideally situated near the most famous tourist sites of western Sicily like Marsala, Erice, San Vito Lo Capo, the Mothia Island, Segesta, the Trapani salines, Monreale and Palermo.

Great place to stay! They had everything you needed for a large group and all of the rooms were cleaned well. The air conditioning worked perfectly and there was 1 in each room and at least 2 in the common areas. There are about 3 upper floor balconies and all of them have a gorgeous view of a Sicilian sunset with the backdrop of the mountains. There’s enough parking for at least 3 cars (and could definitely fit more). The pool area was well maintained. Only thing is it’s a bit difficult to get to with Google Maps, but as long as you pay attention to the landmarks we found our way there each day/night, no problem. 12-15min drive to the nearest supermarket, the beach, and downtown Castellammare for dining. Overall, I’d recommend this as a wonderful place to stay if you’re in the area.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend this villa. We were a group of 11 people from four families, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Having a bathroom in every bedroom made the stay very comfortable, and the air conditioning throughout the villa was a great bonus. The outdoor areas are excellent, with several terraces and seating areas to relax, and the pool was clean, enjoyable, and even cleaned during our stay.The location is peaceful and private, making it a perfect place to unwind. We would also like to thank the couple managing the property, who were always quick to respond and very helpful whenever we needed assistance.A few improvements could make the villa even better. The kitchen would benefit from more plates, glasses, wine glasses, chopping boards, and sharper knives. Some cookware, particularly one of the frying pans, should be replaced. We would also recommend providing reusable plastic cups for the pool area, as glassware around the pool, especially with children present, is not ideal.These were minor issues, and overall we had a wonderful holiday!

A beautiful house which fitted our extended family of 12 easily. Every room is en-suite. Fantastic large pool which our grandchildren were never out of. All our hire cars (nightmare experience on collection!!!) had plenty of shade parking. Huge table on expansive grounds for family meals. Bbq area well away from table. Kitchen well stocked with pans, cutlery, plates etc. Separate laundry room. There are stairs to access the bedrooms but there is a stair lift for those with mobility issues. Host answers all questions quickly and thoroughly. We were met by a representative of the host at a prearranged location and guided to property as it’s difficult to find with satnav instructions. You must have transportation as the villa is in a very rural location.Bring your own shower toiletries as none at property- this would be a nice touch to add and wouldn’t cost much.All in all a great place to stay

Perfect private place for our family of 12 to stay. We enjoyed the pool during the day and the porch during the evening to relax and eat like Italian families do.Airconditioning for cold nights of hot days is very welcome.Good, clean beds and good showers!Nice and quick contact with the host.
