The best hostel I have stayed at. They organized activities, among them the most beautiful hike i have done. All employees and guests were great people. I cant recommend this place enough.

Lots of young volunteering students working in the hostel and they really are the best. They are learning English and really try their best make the best time for guests and to communicate in English. Nice atmosphere in this place and the bed is comfortable.
Do not do the tours! Very poor quality and very disorganised. Way too expensive for what they offer and not worth the price. Much cheaper options in the town. I provisionally said I would do the most expensive Yangshuo tour, for the next day. Later in the day my plans changed and it no longer suited me to do the tour and no longer wanted to. They do not allow you to cancel as they pay your ticket immediately. I was not allowed to cancel or have option of a refund. The owner, Joe, threatened that if I do not do the tour he would take my passport and would go to the police so I would not be allowed to leave! Be very careful what you agree to. I hadn't paid deposit or anything. The hostel is not that close to anything, attractions about 30 + minutes walk away.
