The apartment is in an incredible location, just in the center of Bologna. The owner was very helpful and answered all of our messages quickly. We asked to check-in a bit earlier and he made it possible. The apartment has a very simple decoration, but comfortable, with very good A/C, and the kitchen if fully equiped.
It's not something that the owners can control, but there's an Irish Pub just on the other side of the apartment and it can get noisy in the evenings. If you turn on the A/C in sleeper mode it helps a lot with the noise.

Very clear instructions beforehand and the property contacted me pro-actively which I appreciated. I reported a minor issue with the window which they immediately came to repair. Very good service! The place is good and clean, but not recommended for tall people.

Wonderful location within easy walking distance of all museums we wanted to see and conference location in university district.
Delightful little street with excellent cafe, bar and restaurant.. Great communication with owners.
Hard to climb 5 sets of staircases with heavy bags and quite cramped inside due to sloping ceiling.
