Tucked away in the woods, this beautiful home is a quiet getaway with only a short drive to all the conveniences. Everywhere you turn in this elegant home you see a modern twist on a traditional, fully equipped family home. There is so much natural sunlight beaming through the many windows of the main floor helping to illuminate the contemporary decor. The kitchen is a dream for entertaining with all the updates and style you could ask for. Off the living room is a chic primary suite with an attached full bathroom. A small loft above the living room offers privacy for a study. Down in the lower level is a nice living room and three bedrooms (two bunk rooms and a king bedroom) also there is a full bath. Both bathrooms are done up to the "T" with stone shower stalls and beautiful tile flooring. Amazing views in every direction; this home is a landscaping masterpiece and stonework phenomenon. In addition, there is an outside stone fire pit so you can get a full indoor/outdoor Vermont experience. Please note: there is a separate guest house attached to the garage that is occupied and rented separately from the main house. *Top bunks are not suitable for adults.

If I could rate this place WAY ABOVE excellent, I would. It’s the kind of place I would love to own! SUPER CLEAN, amazing couch spaces, deck, and the most comfortable bed of all time. I couldn’t possibly imagine a better place to stay in the Stowe area!!!

The house is in a cute remote area just outside of town. The commute to the Ski resort is easy and takes about 20min. The house could use some updating and the condition of the linen closet and kitchen supplies could use some work. The main issue we had with the house is the condition of the driveway. The property owners really need to do some work on the driveway. After the big snow had melted it left the whole entire driveway a huge muddy mess, which made it difficult to come and go in our vehicles. At times we almost didn't make it out of the driveway. This can be easily remedied by adding gravel. The walk to the driveway from the house is so muddy it makes an absolute mess in the car. We had to carry our children to and from the house to avoid a mess inside the house. When I mentioned this to the property manager they told me there is nothing they can do and welcome to mudd season.

This was a great house for our two families--8 people total. Common space was very comfy and cozy, as were bedrooms. Basic supplies and toiletries were provided. Kids loved the ping pong table in the basement. The house is up a fairly steep dirt road. We arrived while it was snowing and it had not yet been sanded, so we couldn't get to the house without help from kind neighbors and AAA. Driveway was not sanded in advance either. I would think twice about renting this house in the winter if you do not have 4 wheel drive and/or snow tires.

My family and I stayed here over Christmas break and it is a perfect house for a family. Lots of space, great kitchen and huge table to have family dinners. Would 100% come back!

The place was clean, check in process was easy and the house had all amenities we needed. Would have loved it if the hot tub in the master bath worked, but I am not complaining , As the beautiful deck more than made up for it.

We stayed in late July with a group of 3 adults and 3 kids with more than enough space. The location was perfect, requiring only a short jaunt to town/stores and convenient access to the mountains/rivers. The house was well-appointed with comfortable beds, nice linens, well-stocked kitchen. The bonus of the air conditioning for the 90-degree weather on the day of our arrival was much appreciated. The fire pit was nestled on the side of the large grassy yard, perfect for outdoor play. There were tenants of the garage apartment while we were there but they were not disruptive to our stay.

This is a fantastic home with lots of room for families. It's also a convenient location to Stowe and a short jaunt to the mountain. Decor is lovely and house is well appointed. I have two complaints. First, the road to get to the house is difficult to traverse. We barely made it with AWD and friends with 2WD couldn't make it up the road. Plow came after we called and complained. Also--power went out while we were there and the generator didn't work. All in all though a great stay--I highly recommend as long as you make sure you have 4 wheel or all wheel drive.

We had nine people and a puppy with us, and everyone had plenty of room. The house is well laid out and the yard is enormous and very private. We would definatley recommend this property to anyone spending time in the Stowe area.
