Close to mountains and trails as well as Stowe 4 bedrooms 2 1/2/ baths, indoor sauna , 6 person hot tub, 3TV'S including a 65 "TV with surround sound, wireless internet , includes linens , pots , pans -just show up and ski!!, bedrooms consist of 1 king upstairs with private bath , 2 queens with a private bath , king on main floor with an adjacent bath and 3 beds down stairs , washer /dryer, 2 car garage

Mark's property was the perfect property for our family. We felt right at home during our stay. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and comfortable to work in. (Highly recommend making bison burgers with some local cheese.) The large dining table was great for meals and playing family games in the evening. Everyone enjoyed the cozy wood fires in the fireplace and there was firewood already stacked in the garage. Dips in the hot tub were also great. Best of all was the location. It was so pretty! The house is just a short drive away from the ski resort and still in a fantastic location for walks with our dog Cosmo very near the Recreational Trail. Cosmo loved the spot as much as all the rest of us - lots of floor space to stretch out on and, being a dog, loved lounging in front of the fire. There was plenty of room for our two tall teenage sons and my husband and I with comfortable bedroom spaces. Thank you again to the hosts for a fantastic Stowe getaway.

Great location, great house, WELL equipped kitchen. Close to slopes. Heed the 4 wheel drive warnings the driveway is steep but house is also very private. LOVED IT. We will be back. Owner was easy to reach, responsive and great to deal with.

The place was very spacious and the way it is divided made it easy to have babies sleep while adults were playing games and/or talking loud without waking the children up.
The bedroom at the main floor has a King size bed that is very uncomfortable. All the other beds were comfortable enough and we didn't have an issue sleeping except for the two who had the bedroom with the uncomfortable bed.
Some doors are very difficult to close, which made it frustrating with young children because it was difficult to "baby proof" the place. The stairs are also quite dangerous for young children.
The garage is advertised but when we arrived, there was no possible way to park a car in the garage without spending an hour shoveling the snow out of the way.
We didn't end up using the spa as it had a weird smell to it. I did notify the owner, and he got back to me but I only saw the message later on our last full day there.
The weather wasn't great that weekend so we didn't go to the fire pit but we enjoyed the fireplace in the living room.
Overall I would recommend the place for people who don't have young children.

Nice home in a great location. Many places to hike, eat and shop. The house met all our needs and we really enjoyed using the hot tub and the fireplace. When I had a question, the owner was very quick to respond and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed.

This property served us well. We enjoyed the warm welcome of a fire and wine on the back deck when we arrived. The jacuzzi soothed our sore bodies after hiking in chilly/rainy weather. We didn't cook, other than breakfast, but the kitchen is well-stocked. Very nice. Perfect size for our group of four, although it can handle many more.

I was visiting with 6 adults and 3 kids and we all had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay. The fireplace was wonderful and a great way to unwind after a busy day out. This was a very well equipped rental which made traveling so much easier. Thank you Mark for a lovely stay!

Three couples who have been friends for 50 years enjoyed thoroughly our stay at Mark’s place. It can be a bit challenging to find in the dark, so I’d suggest checking in by dusk at latest.

Nice little house, good location, but for traveling with kids there’s no tub. Not a deal breaker but makes things easier. The major deal breaker is that there is NO AC. It was very hot and uncomfortable. Would rent in the cold months only.

The house was comfortable, cutely decorated, and close to all the fun things to do in Stowe! More room than the two couples that visited needed, but it gave us a lot of space to spread out.
Bring a flashlight to walk the dog at night as there are no street lights.

It was not really near anything that we could get to unless we drove. There was 8 of us (all sister) 7 of us were older then 62 and two had walkers so it was hard. We did have laughs. One restaurant would not take us because they only allow parties of 6 which to me is very wrong .

This beautiful home was perfect for 9 adults and there was room to spare! Clean, taken care of, ready for you to stay. The home literally has everything you could want or need. The owner, Mark, is very hands on and available if you need anything during your stay. We were close to everything, but if you need assistance they had recommendations on things to do and places to go. If I ever need to go back north, I would stay again.

The amount of rooms and bathrooms in the house also worked well for our group. However, there were no tubs, just showers. Not a game changer, but it made it a little more tricky as we were traveling with small children. Speaking of children, there are a couple of staircases in the house, and the central staircase does not have a rail on the den side - also a little tricky when traveling with children. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of towels and linens. We spent evenings visiting in the spacious kitchen at the large table. The upstairs bedrooms and main level bedroom were very nice and the various bed sizes was also great. The downstairs bedroom and living area were a little damp feeling. The issue was being addressed with dehumidifiers. This was nice except we had to empty them several times a day to both continue the operation and avoid the alarm on them going off in the middle of the night and waking us up. We would stay here again as the price is fair for the space. We appreciate the flexibility that the house allowed forbecause of the number of rooms and beds. Any issues we had would not prevent us from choosing this house and the renters again. Overall - this was the experience we expected to get and it worked well for us.

We really loved our stay here with our two boys. Great vibes, stellar location near everything but tucked away and private. House has everything-Incredibly well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, sauna, hot tub, two living rooms, and beautiful trees outside. Mark was super responsive and helpful! We hope to book again next year!
