It was absolutely amazing, we can’t wait to go back!

I travelled with family. We booked Penthouse 6. It’s neat, spacious, lovely and luxurious. Clean linen. The staff is amazing. Amarille is an excellent host. She welcomed us and took us through the finer details upon checking in. She even recommended good restaurants nearby. A crib was arranged for my baby. She went out of her way to courier an item we forgot at the establishment. Beacon House has a generator, so no need to worry about loadshedding. It’s a place to be! Did I mention it’s luxurious!

Our stay at Beacon House was perfect in every single way. From amazing house, to the spectacular views and friendly and helpful staff. 10 out of 10 is understatement.

The property did state wheelchair friendly however my dad who is in wheelchair could unfortunately not use the shower. This was however something that we could work around and we would definitely come again.

Pleasant accommodation on the very popular East Head

Apartment #4 (we booked #1) was spacious and well furnished, with air-con throughout the apartment. Attractive reception area. Good housekeeping. East Head Cafe 20m away. Good parking facilities. Amarille was helpful and extremely available.

Confusion about the actual apartment booked, as Beacon House had left Booking.com and our chosen apartment had been given to another party. Loadshedding throughout our stay was a nuisance, although Beacon House has its own generator. Proximity to the East Head car park and East Head Cafe meant that we could be seen on the balcony, The kitchen was described as 'gourmet', but the equipment provided is basic. Noise from families in other apartments.

Our stay was only one night, so difficult to comment. Next time we would consider a longer stay.

Breakfast not expected or offered.

Cutlery and crockery very basic. We would expect more from a high-end rental. It would be nice if beach towels were available as this is a beach location.

Luxury accommodation, perfect for a big family, in a prime location

Fantastic location next to one of the best eateries in Knysna. Perfect size apartment for a family of 5. Super comfortable beds, and powerful hot showers!

Nice accommodation.

View was not as good as we expected by seeing the foto’s in booking.com. picture are of the highest floor and we were on the 1th. We found some hairs in the douche. From this price we expect an excellent accommodation. Although it nice and luxery is there is rust on the trash can, water is coming through the shower wall while taking a shower and one of the legs of the refrigerator is broken.

Best value for many with exceptional views.

The location of this property is amazing and the staff were very accommodating and professional in dealing with our requests. I would strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for exceptional views, service and a relaxing time.

Perfect accommodation for a Couple's Getaway

Beacon House is an absolute gem. An ideal space and location for a couple's getaway or just for some RnR. We loved the spacious feel and flow of the apartment, the cleanliness and the attention to detail. We wished we booked a longer stay and plan to visit again in the near future. The scenery (Knysna Heads) from the apartment was amazing. The room was clean, well-furnished and equipped with everything you need. The shower and bathtub were amazing. There is ample storage space for your luggage. The bed was very comfortable. Ample air conditioning is provided. We experienced load shedding during our stay, but that's where the gas stove came in handy. The gas fireplace was a nice addition.

Nothing to complain about.
