Loved it! It's a beautiful camp, really comfortable with a good atmosphere. Really enjoyed the evenings, star gazing and sitting around the campfire listening to the live music. Food was good. Staff really helpful and accommodating. We did the dune camel ride and a day tour. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kam Kam Dunes! Everything was well organised from beginning to end, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations.
Communication via WhatsApp before arrival was excellent. The team provided all the information we needed in advance, answered our questions promptly and helped us organise several excursions. We booked everything ahead of time and paid by card, which made the whole process very convenient.
We went on a buggy adventure and also booked a full-day 4x4 excursion exploring the surrounding desert area. Both were amazing experiences! We also enjoyed a camel ride at sunset and watched the sunset and the incredible star-filled sky from a nearby dune.
The evening at the camp was another highlight. Dinner was included and was delicious. Afterwards, we could relax around the campfire while enjoying live traditional music and drumming. It was a really special atmosphere!
The staff escorted us all the way to our tent. We arrived in our own 4x4, but having your own vehicle is not necessary. They can pick you up at a nearby petrol station and transfer you to the camp in their own 4x4 vehicles.
Breakfast was excellent too, and we particularly appreciated the flexibility. If you have an early excursion planned you have a plenty of time to still enjoy your breakfast before the excursion starts.
The tents were comfortable, the location was beautiful, and the entire team was incredibly friendly, professional and welcoming. Everyone spoke excellent English and French, which made communication effortless.
Honestly, everything was superb: the organisation, the excursions, the food, the hospitality and the atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better desert experience. Highly recommended, and we would happily come back!
A couple of things worth mentioning: there are no power outlets inside the tents, so we charged our phones in the main dining tent during breakfast and dinner. Internet connectivity is also very limited, with both Wi-Fi and mobile reception being almost non-existent. However, we didn't really consider this a downside. If anything, it's a great opportunity to disconnect from the digital world for a while and fully enjoy the desert, the peaceful surroundings and the experience itself!

The location of this camp was amazing, it was incredible to be so close to the dunes and so isolated from the road and any other camps. The staff were great, tents were clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our sunset camel ride and walk through the dunes. Our guides for both excursions went out of their way to make our experience memorable.
We were surprised to find so many families with children. Was a bit louder than we expected but overall it didn’t ruin our visit

Kam Kam Dunes ligt echt in de duinen, ver weg van andere kampen en/of het dorp. Je wordt opgehaald bij een locatie buiten de duinen en met een jeep brengen ze je vervolgens naar het kamp. Het kamp ziet er super mooi uit, echt een geweldig uitzicht. De tenten waarin we verbleven waren sfeervol ingericht, groot en hadden een eigen badkamer. Het avondeten is eenvoudig maar voldoet en het ontbijt is uitgebreid. Vanuit het kamp kan je van alles laten organiseren. Onze Cameltour by sunset was geweldig en ook de jeeptour met Yassine was leuk.
We wilden voor het avondeten graag iets drinken en kwamen er al snel achter dat ze weinig konden aanbieden. Eigenlijk alleen water, rode wijn en bier. Dus als je erheen gaat en je wil graag wat fris drinken, dan adviseer ik om dit zelf mee te nemen.
