I would return

The cabin has everything we needed, I was surprised. Very clean ans so much space.

The futon had stains on them. Easy to cover with all the linen provided

Plan to visit again in the future.

The lakeside cottage had a spectacular view of Lake Shinji. The accommodation had most everything you could need for a short stay and the beds were comfortable. We travelled with a baby and brought everything we needed but you could also rent a good variety of products. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

A great place to stay, close to nature and a nice view of the lake.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, even though we only spoke a little Japanese. Breakfast was a small amount extra. The cabin we stayed in had a nice lounge area and great view of the lake as well. The price was great too.

A toilet on the same floor as the bedrooms would have been great to save having to go upstairs, but overall it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.

Great house. But not for winter...

Beautiful, well-equipped house, on 2 levels. Kitchen has everything (although the little oven / grill was so dirty that we didn't touch it). Beds are very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. Good WiFi, easy parking. There is a cart in the room to carry the baggage from the parking space to the house. The young man at the reception was very welcoming and helpful.

In such a modern house, there is no heating in the bathroom! As it is located on the ground floor, it is absolutely freezing. Luckily we used a nearby onsen, but this is hardly acceptable considering the climate. It was snowing for the 2 nights of our stay. I am sure that when the outdoor temperature is higher, this is a great place. But not in winter.
