We really enjoyed the location, as it was within walking distance of Florence’s main attractions. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds and spotless bed linens. Although the bathroom was small, it was well equipped with a bidet, and the shower was great, with doors that closed properly so no water leaked out.
Breakfast was much better than we expected, with a croissant, fresh fruit, sandwiches, juice, and spreads like butter, jam, and Nutella. The coffee was excellent, and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
The main downside was the connecting door between our room and the neighboring one. Unfortunately, we could hear almost everything from the other room, and one night the guest next door stayed up late and was quite noisy. Fortunately, we were very tired and managed to fall asleep.
The towels are changed every three days. However, when we asked for fresh ones earlier, the hosts were happy to provide them. The elevator was extremely small, slow, and felt a bit uncomfortable, although this wasn’t a major issue for us since the guest house is only on the second floor and we used the stairs.
