Peter was an excellent host. We had left our bags at the hotel to pick up after the event, and we ran into an unexpected issue as we were leaving — all the exits were blocked. We arrived more than 3 hours late compared to when we'd planned to pick up our bags, and Peter was extremely attentive and helpful.
Also, the room was amazing!
I trully recommend Chateau Neufays

Excellent accommodation in an impressive classic building. If anything, the listing undersold the property - there were two bedrooms, not just one as stated in the listing.
Charming views from the windows.
Free Wifi had good signal.
Coffee- and tea-making facilities provided with good quantity and quality of consumables. Well-equipped kitchen area.
The host provided a warm welcome and the (paid extra for) breakfast had a good variety of meats, cheeses and preserves together with Orange juice to set us up for the day.
No restaurant facilities nearby, so be prepared to drive somewhere for a meal (or call for a taxi).
No lift, so be prepared to carry luggage up to the second floor - and the stories are quite high - this is a chateau, after all.
(Fussy point) The coffee-bag machine made too much volume for the cups provided, so have a second cup handy to catch the overspill!

A stunningly beautiful old house with huge rooms, high ceilings and history adorning the walls. One of the best places we've stayed on our many European holidays. The host, Peter, was warm and friendly. He welcomed us personally and upgraded us to the three bedroom apartment as a welcome gift. Note, this review review is not for the apartment we booked!
Parking was easy and the lovely wide staircase gave us easy access to the second level apartment.
The house is quite well equipped with an eclectic collection of pots and pans, glasses and plates.
We had good wifi in most places and the shower was hot and strong.
We found the bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms clean and the beds comfortable. The gardens surrounding the house were lovely although we didn't use the outdoor settings prefering to use one of our two upper terraces instead.
No dishwasher tablets were provided to use the dishwasher. Fortunately we had one. Balcony furniture was very rusty, thanks for the cushions!
