It is hard for me to find the right words to describe how special and absolutely wonderful our time at Villa Mosana was. Villa Mosana is truly a hidden gem. It is a historic, beautiful, and spacious villa in the quiet Belgian countryside, which has been restored by the masterful and caring hands of its owners - Carol and Pierre. They are incredibly warm and fun and very interesting people with a great vision for the future of the Villa (and a great Belgian beers collection!). They are wonderful hosts with a gift for forming an inviting community around them and the Villa.
Each room in the house is different, but they all are spacious with the high ceilings and large comfortable beds, and historic furniture. The windows oversee a beautiful and quiet vast backyard. It was such a pleasure coming home every day for a quiet and relaxing time after our time at F1 Spa Francochamps Grand Prix circuit. We rented a car, and the Villa was very easy to reach by it.
Each day Carol would offer to cook us dinner and breakfast, tailored to the time we would get up or get back home in the evening. The food was plenty - and all very tasty too, accompanied by great beer and wine. The house was full, every room hosted guests who came in town for F1. In the evening, we would gather around the barbecue and the dining table having a dinner together and discussing the day events. It was also the World Cup finale the weekend that we were there, and we had the time of our lives watching it all together with wonderful people from all over the world.
