Situated in Biscayne Park, this charming house for $170 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Completely private north unit of a duplex with private cute backyard. The other unit entrance faces another street. Quiet residential neighborhood, only 4 blocks to the centric Biscayne Blvd. Close to one of the causeway that crosses the bay, less than 15 minutes to beach! Sleeps total of 4 guests in 2 sleeping areas. First bedroom: sleeps 2 in a KING bed with a pillow top mattress. 2nd bedroom sleeps 2 on a bunkbed with a full bed bottom and a twin on top. There is also a Graco napper playpen for a baby to sleep (upon request). A total of 3 smart TV, on both rooms and the living room. Easy checkin with electronic keypad. Free parking on site & free wifi. Full kitchen with oven, pots and pans, utensils and fridge. We provide toaster, microwave, coffee maker, free coffee, cups, glasses and plates. Hair dryer, Iron and iron board. Bathroom with warm water. Central AC with heater. Backyard seating. No pets allowed, no smoking allowed. Lets us know of any special request, we will do our best to accommodate you. We prepared a book with a wall map reference for you to find the best places to visit and the closes best restaurants. Great location to stores. Rental was clean and near our destination. There are 3 minor notes: 1 - Addition of more cookware for guest use to include mixing bowls. The left knob in kitchen sink leaks, and spray for insects (2 medium sized spiders were killed). I would rent again.

I give it 4 star the location was Lil far from everything we wanted to go house was nice and comfortable water get cold fast in the air conditioner freeze so we were hot for a day but manager got on it asap but we enjoyed our stay

Overall we had a good stay, but the lack of hot water and old stove are definitely areas requiring improvement. Sounds: It is very close to a railroad and you could hear loud trains rumbling through day and night (bothersome to the light sleepers in our family, but a set of earplugs can help with that). There were neighbors on both sides of the apartment (maybe its better described as a triplex?) and I could hear their TVs at night when sitting in both the front room as well as in the master bedroom, but it was very faint and did not wake the children (two kids under 3 years old). Comfortability: Super comfortable beds and appreciated the extra padding provided for the pack n' play for the baby. We all slept wonderfully. The house was also incredibly clean and I felt comfortable letting my infant crawl around and explore. The owners did warn that the hot water takes a long time to heat up. This was a good warning as it took up to 5 minutes to get the water to warm; however, what was really annoying was that there was an incredibly short supply of hot water once it got warm, which made comfortably bathing a family of 4 impossible. I tried leaving the water running longer in case it would heat back up again but after 20 minutes I gave up. Towards the end of the trip we began letting the water run until it got hot, quickly doused the babies in water, turned shower off and soaped them up, turned water back on to quickly rinsed them off, then my husband and I proceeded with our own cold showers. We came to FL to spend time at the beach, so daily showers were necessary. Kitchen/appliances: We chose to stay in a VRBO because we have allergies in the family and need to cook our own meals. The oven/stove is old and cooking anything took a lot longer than I expected because the big burner would turn off and on even when I had the setting on high. The toaster worked OK, but is also very old and can only fit smaller bread slices (silly inconvenience but inconvenient nonetheless). The microwave looks newer but must be low wattage because, again, it took a while to warm food. Most people probably try to slow down while on vacation, so these things don't matter, but with small kids we aren't quite as flexible since we need to time our outings with naps! I would definitely recommend this property to others due to the comfortable beds and relatively close location to the beach along with the caveats noted above.

Enjoyed the quaint little 2 bedroom house. It was very comfortable for our group and not far from beach. The only drawback was roaches in the kitchen, but not too bad.

It was wonderful to stay in this friendly house. Everything is clean and very welcoming. Kids loved bunk bed. Milena gave us a baby highchair and bassinet, it was wonderful! We enjoyed our vacation in this small cozy house.Thank you!!!

The house was very nice and we were very comfortable there. The house was very clean and in an o.k. neighborhood. We did have an idea about the neighborhood when we received the address since we used to live a few miles from there. The only issue we had , which ended up being a non-issue was that there was an efficiency attached. I was wanting to rent a whole house because we were bringing our dog who barks for a while after we go out and leave him but we didnt get any complaints, so either he didnt bark for long or the other people didnt hear him. It is a small house good for a family and I think that we would stay there again.

A wonderful stay

We stayed at Casa Turquesa for a week while in Miami to do some volunteer work for a nonprofit and also take some vacation time. The house was perfect for my husband and me. There was plenty of space to be comfortable, cook anything we wanted, and was conveniently located for doing fun things in Miami. There are lots of restaurants nearby on Biscayne Boulevard, offering the full variety of cuisines you expect in Miami. Check-in was super easy, the house was immaculate, and nicely decorated. Milena has seen to every detail, including a blow dryer, iron, coffee, and beach towels. We appreciated the clothes line in the back, so we could hang up our sandy swim suits and towels to dry. We would love to rent this cute house again in the future.
