About this villa rental
The large village of Coreglia Antelminelli is only 2 km away and offers a few shops and authentic restaurants. Additional amenities, including supermarkets, can be found in nearby Piano di Coreglia or in the slightly larger town of Gallicano. The historic spa town of Bagni di Lucca is a 20-minute drive away and has been famous for its thermal springs since Etruscan and Roman times. The area is rich in picturesque sights, including the striking Ponte della Maddalena, also known as the Devil’s Bridge. The region is also ideal for hiking and outdoor activities such as rafting and canoeing on the Serchio River. Charming Lucca, with its intact Renaissance city walls and many churches, is about 40 minutes away by car, while Pisa and the coast can be reached in around an hour.
The two-storey villa is painted in a soft yellow tone and surrounded by well-kept gardens. A loggia-style terrace provides a lovely setting for meals al fresco, while the hot tub is sure to become a favourite place to relax and enjoy the views.
Inside, Casa Tamara is furnished in a comfortable Tuscan style. The bathroom on the ground floor is wheelchair-accessible, and an electric stairlift makes the villa a suitable option for guests with reduced mobility.
