Lovely owners and nice feel that the hotel is not part of a big chain. Very good location, near both train station, water and central Motala.
Housekeeping knocked in our door, despite ”do not disturb” sign, 1,5 hrs before check-out time to ask if we would check out soon! Unprofessional and not welcoming.
Cold scrambled eggs, no waffle batter or cream (empty canisters on the table) despite us being one of the first guest at breakfast early morning. Asked for top up but it did not arrive before we had to leave.
Extremely long waiting time (almost 15 min!) before staff would turn up at reception for us to check-out.

Room was spacious, quiet and cozy! Bed was comfortable, and we loved having a sauna and balcony doors in the room.
Toilet seat was not attached to the seat and I found someone else's nylon tights under the sofa. But very clean otherwise!

Nice bar and lobby/lounge, next to a big park (great when traveling w a dog as we did). wonderful beds.
they had given the room we booked (bigger size) to someone else. Checking in, and paid but they didn’t tell me they had given us a much smaller room. when I realized this, I went to the reception and they immediately agreed to pay back part of the sum, but we had wanted the bigger room w separate entrance as booked. The staff were very nice about it though.
