About this villa rental
Torre del Cielo, or "Tower of Heaven", is a truly unique holiday home whose historic watchtower, dating back to the 17th century, creates a very special atmosphere. This beautifully restored villa offers an unforgettable stay for up to ten guests, set amidst the picturesque Tuscan landscape of vineyards, olive groves and wooded hills. It is a wonderful place to spend time with family or friends and celebrate special occasions.
Peacefully situated on the edge of the small hamlet of Ripoli, the charming town of Monterchi is less than a ten-minute drive away. Here, you’ll find small shops and excellent local restaurants such as Osteria Le Civette or La Pieve Vecchia. Arezzo, Cortona, Siena and Lake Trasimeno are just a few ideas for day trips, and the nearby region of Umbria with Perugia and Assisi is also within easy reach.
The generous garden is dotted with flowering plants and well-kept lawns. A covered terrace with dining table and chairs is ideal for al fresco meals, and the pool, lined with terracotta tiles and flower pots, is a real highlight. The various garden levels are connected by a delightful stone staircase framed by lush greenery.
Inside, the villa offers spacious rooms with wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and elegant antique furnishings. Painted floral motifs in soft pastel tones create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ancient stone walls of the tower bedroom add a peaceful, almost chapel-like charm.
Guests are welcomed with a complimentary buffet. The hot tub by the pool can be used upon advance request. Five hours of use of the tennis court in Monterchi is included, as well as access to a private lake for fishing (equipment not provided). Bedrooms have air conditioning. A private chef can be booked on request and with owner confirmation.

This property embodies the ambiance of Tuscany. The views from the rooftop of the secondary Villa were mesmerizing. Although being unseasonably chili the pool and Jacuzzi we’re both very refreshing and invigorating. The Villa was clean, charming and had an abundance of character to match its amazing history and cultural to the region. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. A rental car is absolutely needed for this location to assist with access to groceries and excursions. Rosado was pleasant, professional, helpful, friendly, and accommodating… even when our stay coincided with his birthday! The personal chef and winery excursion set up through Rosado were amazing! Big hugs and a big thank you to Rosado for making my 30th anniversary of being 25 memorable!
