The hostess prepared a very good dinner and breakfast, and there was food in large quantity.
It's a family owned place so there are kids running around and the hostess is also busy with her own things which felt familiar (it wasn't a problem for us but I realise some people may see kids as an inconvenience).
The house is by the sea so you can hear the waves.
The location is by the road and the train line so it's not particularly quiet. Also it doesn't have blackout curtains (super common in Japan) so in early July it was very bright from 5am. Better with ear plugs and eye mask.

Das Takamasu ist eine typische japanische Pension mit Tatami-Zimmern, Gemeinschaftsbad/Toiletten und Halbpension (Abendessen, Frühstück).
Das Essen ist fantastisch!! Abendessen und Frühstück können sich mit den besten Restaurants in München messen 😀! Die Wirtsfamilie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr verwöhnt.
Zur berühmten „Telefonzelle am Ende der Welt“ ist es zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten, und der Strand ist gegenüber (daher eine tolle Aussicht aus dem Zimmer).
Wer den Weg nach Ootsuchi (oder genauer Namiitakaigan) zur „Telefonzelle“ nicht scheut, ist im Takamasu bestens untergebracht.

下記の理由があったにもかかわらず笑、一時間で作られた料理は美味しかったです。予約を確認してなかったのは、おかみさんは下宿生のお世話もしつつ、旅館業をされているので忙しいのは仕方ないとも思います。なにより料金はリーズナブルです。
館内はとても清潔で窓から見える海の風景はよかったです。
夕方6時前に着いたのですがbookingでの宿泊予約が伝わってなくて（メールを確認されてなかったようです）、真っ暗。危うく宿泊難民になりかけました。
電話で予約の確認をした方がいいですね。
駐車場から旅館の一階に上がる階段が急なので足腰が弱い人は厳しいなと思います（部屋につながる階段もまあまあ急ですが、沿岸の民宿はみんなそうですが、これまでいくつか泊まった中では急な部類に入ります）
