I stayed at this amazing cute homestay with Stanzin and his family for 2 nights. His wife is a very good cook. Nice breakfast and dinner and always fresh milk or mint tea ready for you in the Ladakhi diningroom and plenty of fresh abricots from their own tree.
The rooms are very big, clean and with incrieble views to the mountains and barley fields.
I went with Stanzin on the Sham trek for 4 days, and he is the best guide. He knows everything about the trails, animals, mountains, and the homestays. He has so much knowledge of the people in these villages, and they all know him. Julley julley 🫠
If you want to go on this trek or other treks, take him with you. It is very difficult to find the way on your own in these mountains, and he brings a surprise lunch pack for you. It saved my life 🙏🏻
I hope to be back one day, and do an other trek with Stanzin in the Himalayas 🙂
