I was in Ladakh for the Ladakh Marathon and stayed at Nature Palace Farmstay for 10 days.
The property is right on the marathon route, so for me it was the perfect place to stay and train. It’s quiet, peaceful and away from the usual tourist rush.
The room had everything I needed for a 10-day stay — hot water, cups, basic stuff you need, and even Netflix and YouTube Premium. 😄 Small things, but they make a difference when you’re staying for so long.
But what really made the stay special was the family. They were so warm from day one and made me feel like I was staying with family, not at a homestay. They even had a wedding at home while I was there, and I was made to feel completely part of it.
And the food! I had a Ladakhi breakfast every morning, and the khambir was honestly one of my favourite things. It also worked perfectly as my pre-race carb meal.
The family really went out of their way for me. The owner dropped me at the marathon start line early in the morning, picked me up after the race, and even dropped me at the airport when I was leaving.
I came to Ladakh for the marathon, but I’m taking back a lot more than just a marathon medal.
Really grateful to the entire family at Nature Palace Farmstay. ❤️

Everything, from getting a welcome note from the property a day before check in, to the A rated service from Arif was perfect. The facility is tastefully decorated. The food was top notch.
The last 200 meters drive to the property, seems as if you are going into the woods

Worte können kaum beschreiben, wie wunderbar die Tage bei Arif und seiner Familie im Farmstay war. Die Herzlichkeit, Offenheit, die Küche, die Umgebung, der Ausblick und Nähe zur Natur sind einfach unbeschreiblich!
Definitiv eine Entdeckung 😊

It feels like home, amazing homecooked food, quiet location sourranded by nature, but perfect to access all the main cultural beauty of Leh. comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful hosts!
