It was very cheap and the staff was very friendly. Additionally, they accepted credit cards, which is not very common in the countryside. (On the flipside though, I tried to pay with a 10000 yen bill and they didn't have change, which I thought was very odd).
If you only need a place to hang your hat for the night, this hotel will do fine.
The beds were SO HARD. I know this is common in Japan, but this might have been the hardest bed I've ever slept on. It was like sleeping on the floor.
Also, the air conditioning units were a little moldy and could use some cleaning.
It's not conveniently located near any station, but I don't mind walking, so that didn't bother me.
