Location next to Cable Car and private parking.
Reception Staff very friendly and helpful.
Onsite restaurant very good and seemed to be popular with non residents.
Room fairly basic but adequate for an overnight stop.

Everything was to a high standard especially if you book a balcony worth every penny . The view is breathtaking
More instructions on breakfast where to eat what’s included and maybe informed at check in . It’s a bit confusing if you just wander down . Also , top tip if you need sandwiches have the facility the night before to order especially if you’re heading up Mount Etna .

Fantastic stay we had at this Refuge. 10-20m away from Funivia dell’Etna and close to every amenity! Staff were nice and professional. We arrived a bit early and we were kindly asked to wait in the hotel bar for our room to be ready. It was worth it because the bar staff were very welcoming and the quadruple room was magnificent. It came with a big terrace that overlooked Catania, the main Piazza and the two Silvestri Craters. We stayed for two nights, had lunch and dinner at the restaurant adjacent to the Refuge (Amazing Food), breakfast was included and service was impeccable.

Very handy for the cable car and free parking is a bonus.
The 2nd floor rooms have sloping roofs so 1/3 of the room is hard to access. The breakfast is minimal.
