We loved the location, the staff and the simple but yet comfortable facilities. The hotel gave a tranquil and homely feeling. The service was excellent and the staff really went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We really appreciated the small gifts and treats we received during our stay. The vibe was chill and cozy, the dogs and cats were a great touch.
If we ever return to Zanzibar this is where we would stay again and again.
We stayed at three different locations on the island, and this was most definitely the best place.
Nothing at all

The location was a quiet and beautiful. They offer a amazing breakfast with a new concept everyday. The staff and the owners were super friendly and made us feel like home.
The room downstairs was a little bit loud in the mornings.

Firstly… the owners and staff are incredibly hospitable. Literally what hospitality is about. One of the most accommodating places i’ve been, especially for specific dietary needs.
The pool and outdoor restaurant area is beautiful, the water warm, crystal clear and perfectly kept, not to mention you can actually swim in it :)
There’s games, books, kayaking, snorkelling available from the hotel directly at no extra charge, and they will bend over backwards so you know the tide movements.
Now… THE FOOD.
Everything… is cooked and seasoned brilliantly, using fresh ingredients snd LOCALLY sourced or made.
It is a humble little retreat, not luxury, but genuine, well kept and very comfortable with very attentive staff.
If I had to say something constructive , it would only be adding some more meat proteins to the menu.

Staffs, their hospitality, attention to details, food and drinks, free breakfast, surprise snack during the day
It’s 3km from Paje town. Beach has seaweed which is not great for swimming
