very bad experience in this house with my family

nothing at all

We didn't like it at all, the old beds, the mattresses were very dirty, the carpets were too dirty, there were no cups for breakfast.

Invested with ants

Easy to get into the property

It wasn't particularly clean or comfortable - sofas were very tired, beds very creaky and carpets stained. Our main concern was an infestation of ants. We arrived late and noticed the ants, so we got rid of the food left in the kitchen and tried to get rid of as many ants as possible, but we couldn't use the kitchen to prepare food. The next morning, the kitchen was covered again, so I let the owner know about the issue and that we would be out for the day. He told us cleaners would come to sort the issue. When we got back to the property that evening, no cleaning had been done, but ant killer had been poured all over the kitchen surfaces and floor - meaning we again could not use the kitchen. I had to find alternative accommodation for my 3-year-old and husband as my daughter so that my daughter was safe (she is immuno-compromised due to chemotherapy). Requested a partial refund for this, but the owner refused and would not respond to messages. I know ants can occur anywhere, which is why we tried to sort it, and we gave the owner the opportunity for it to be resolved, but minimum effort was made to make it better for us. Also, the ant killer was placed in specific areas, so I'm guessing this wasn't a new issue.

The property is in a good location and served it purpose of somewhere to get your head down

The property is very dated and needs a makeover all furniture especially bedroom furniture is all mismatch & stained It needs a extensive clean paying more attention to woodwork , windows , and kitchen , bathroom I found myself cleaning before using things I would expect it to be much nicer for money paid

Not very comfortable and economic stay

Size of the rooms. the warm water. beds. the owner response was fine. he even came in the night to fix toilet blockage.

overall maintenance was vwry poor. Many objects not in good condition like, cupboards, tables, chairs, extra bed, drying rack. the door lock. cooker, microwave with no markings. The Garden was a mere space which was not very inviting for kids to play. The floor made a lot of noise waking up others from sleep. Not suitable for a stay if you dont have a car as the grocerries were about 1 km away and the nearest underground is abot 2 km away. So we paid uber much more than we anticipated diring pir stay. And ofcourse having only one bathroom caused some challenges.

Quiet area and comfy beds

Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. It's a surprisingly quiet area too, we barely heard any traffic and had a great night's sleep. Would stay again if we are in the area. There is a lovely sofa area with a big tv, a nice dining area and well equipped kitchen. We didn't use the oven or microwave provided but it was nice that they were there. The host is friendly and quick to respond, and communication was easy.

The house is a little bit run down in places but that didn't affect use of the property. No soap in the bathroom (that we could find) but luckily I had brought my own. The garden had some refuse in it at the back, but again it didn't affect our stay, and it was nice to watch the visiting wild birds in the morning.

Easy contact with owner and great place to stay for somewhere to sleep after a day at the football

Owner was great talked through message to retrieve keys and allowed us to check in early to drop bags off while cleaner was still there from previous guests...location to Wembley stadium is great once we figured out were we were was easy to get to would stay again and would recommend. We checked out early and deposit was repaid promptly with no issues thanks and we will be back

Disappointing

Close to Wembley Arena

It took a couple of messages before l got my security deposit back. One of the beds was uncomfortable which led to sleeping on the sofa. The driveway for parking was very tight

Good Stay but did not get hot water

Good house. Nice atmosphere.

No hot water in pipes and the room heaters were not working. The landlord is late at giving replies.

Nightmare stay

This house smelt of cigarettes, there were cigarette burns and stains all over the sofa cushions, and the sofas were not sofa beds as advertised. The property was meant to house 8 guests. There were not enough beds or bedding. There were no curtains at some of the windows, dirty nappies outside the back door, and mouse poo in the kitchen cupboards. There were holes in the floorboards, and scratching could be heard in the middle of the night. Our bread on the kitchen surface had been eaten by an animal over night. We checked out early and escaped as soon as we could

Great location, not a great experience

The house is in a great location for events at Wembley, a 15-20 minute walk. The bathroom was clean. Well equipped kitchen.

The house needs a bit of work. The floorboards are scary unstable, one of the stairs is only being held together by the carpet, begging someone's foot to fall through, and the garden is very overgrown. One of the keys was missing, so we weren't able to use the front door. This was pretty inconvenient when bringing our luggage in and out because the driveway is very overgrown. The couches are in pretty rough shape and the curtains are literally falling off the windows.

great location , bathroom clean kitchen clean nice tv.

it needs work doing to it the outside and the garden is a mess, saw a mouse running around - not fully cleaned properly - there was a load of rubbish under the bed for example.

DISGUSTING MOUSE INFESTED HELL HOLE Do not book this accommodation it is disgusting, nice are the food in the kitchen and there is mouse poo and urine on every surface. there’s old traps in cupboards it’s rotten

it was dirty, unkept, it had mouse droppings on every surface. the house is falling apart. I would rather have slept on the streets. I had to leave after one day and book a hotel.

House was extremely clean and has clearly been a well loved family home at some stage. Kitchen well equipped including a washing machine and fridge freezer. Sky TV and Netflix were a nice extra. Modern bathroom with good shower. 10 minutes walk to Wembley for events or rail station for services to London. Off street parking on driveway. Owner was very friendly and communication good.

Garden was in desperate need of TLC so a bit off putting on arrival and it was a shame we couldn't sit out in the good sized back garden as it was so overgrown. House is in need of some redecoration and furniture and curtains could do with updating to provide a little more comfort as at least one bed was alarmingly creaky. We would use the house again though as it was an excellent base for our sightseeing week and trip to Wembley.

The location relatively easy to catch train/metro. Place was clean. Quiet neighbourhood.

outside maintence could be better. some appliances in the kitchen were not to the top. No international power plugs in the house for North American travellers.

Great place, great stay

Great location for our group to attend an event at OVO Arena at Wembley, 10-15 mins walk away. Very reasonable price for what was on offer. Plenty of space, 3 beds and sofa bed. House was thoroughly clean throughout. Nice living room/lounge area, was perfect for us. Kitchen had plenty of cutlery/crockery. Check in/check out is smooth and easy. Would highly recommend this house! Thanks so much.

Great city break in London with kids

A spacious, typical British apartment. We were three women and 4 kids and we felt comfortable there. Fully-equipped, heating, hot water, kitchen, tv, quiet neighborhood etc We enjoyed our stay and we recommend the place! Easy and quick contact with the owner, small supermarkets with international products nearby. Bus number 18 goes directly to Baker's street and is half way to the underground station. The stop is close to the National Express buses going to Stansed airport . The tube is a little farther away (15-20min walk) but with Bakerloo Line you can easily get to the majority of main attraction directly or with one train change.
