The house is well appointed with ample lounge space ( we were 7 adults) although the dining areas ( 1 indoor and 1 outdoor) only have 6 chairs but easily sorted by moving a chair or 2 from one to the other. The 2 main bedrooms are spacious ( no wardrobe/hanging space) and beds are quite comfortable. The 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of bunks which are great for kids but a bit short for most adults. Luckily one on the lounges is a pull out sofa bed. Kitchen is quite well equiped - we bought our own sharp knives, tongs, etc. Should have bought a couple of large platters for shared food. Bathroom clean and not too bad size for a holiday rental. Hot water very hot - something to be careful for young children. Yard is well fenced and our dog loved it. Parking for 2 small cars / 1 large car on the property and plenty of street parking out front. A bit of noise from the caravan park that the property backs onto but on the whole quite quiet most of the time. Walking distance to Surf Club (suggest weather permitting sit on the deck), Hotel( nice bistro) IGA, 3 fish and chip shops to choose from, butcher, plus other facilities. Off leash dog beach about 5 mins drive. Would definitely recommend and consider staying there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was pleased the house looks even better in person. Perfect location, great for dogs and you can hear the waves at night. The only thing that let down the property was it had sandy floors and fur balls floating through the house when we arrived.

Superb location, close to beach access, supermarket, food outlets, pub/bottle shop and takeaways. Walk or drive to dog off leash beach. The house was well described and has excellent space, well fenced with a safe backyard for dogs. Fences not overly tall so probably not suitable if your dog is a fence jumper. The house has been nicely renovated and is extremely comfortable the only downfall is the firmness of the beds. I ended up buying a mattress topper to help with the uncomfortable firmness of the bed after the first night. So maybe something that would be a worthwhile investment for owners to improve comfort. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances. A couple of simple additions of some sharp knives to go with the bread and butter knives and a corkscrew would be welcome additions.
