A waste of money and not recommending to anyone

It was not at all what they advertised it’s more like a dorm and people just walked into my room and we had no privacy (not to mention all the noise)

Great location, affordable and amazing stay 👍

Dudy was such a pleasure to stay with and I highly recommend booking with him. He graciously let me drop off my belongings early and pick them up after checkout so that I had extra time to explore the city. The room was spacious and I felt extremely comfortable the entire time. And what a beautiful garden! We had some great conversations about the plants that I was seeing and about his recommendations for the best things to do in the city. I was glad that I took his advice. Thank you so much for hosting me and making my trip wonderful!

Not luxurious not 10 Minutes

Our room has been really cozy and we had direct access to a beautiful balcony with a great view.

The whole place has been dirty to the point where you didn’t want to touch anything in the bathroom which clearly hasn’t been wiped off for a long time, not even talking about properly cleaned. Same with the floor in our room. It was sticky and there have been ants on the sticky places. Contrary to what we were told beforehand, we were not able to check in by ourselves. Instead we had to give an exact time which was hard for us as we’ve been sightseeing on our way up. Staff wasn’t friendly or helpful at all. Me having had to ask three times f.e. to get a key is only the smallest part of it. Also the apartment is quite far away from the old city. To be fair we could have looked it up, but I still think the title is misleading.

Great!

I stayed here 3 times. I always book this place bcs of free 24 hrs parking. Parking in Jerusalem is a big headache and here you will be safe! Then its very close to drive to old city and anywhere in Israel. Great strategic location. Then you have kitchen and all facilities. Plus great value for money as Israel is not cheap.

Its a private apartment and nicely decorated. Two cats are living in the apartment as well. You can enter the terrace via two other rooms.

The apartment is a 5 minutes walk away from the tram and bus station. With the tram it’s 24 minutes (8 stations) away from old town (not 10 minutes). It depends on the other guest - it was pretty loud - one guest was cooking in the night until 2am and smashing the doors.

a privately run hostel, with nice furniture and accessories, a bit loud for a calm stay

The apartment generally was nicely equipped, our room had a TV and free Netflix and Amazon Prime which we used a bit too. The balcony looked stunning and it was nice to have access to it, as well as having breakfast there. The property was clean, the shower and toilet as well.

I didn't expect first that 'private room' meant a room directly accessible by the living room where every people ate and lived social life. There were two cats at the property climbing on everything in the living room (dining table, next to the kitchen sink, etc.). Out of the 4 nights, on 3 I had to ask the host and his other guests to keep quiet because we wanted to sleep after a long day, the fourth night, we got home 1 am and got asked the next morning by newly arrived guests whether the living room is this noisy every night. :D

I would recommend this property to whoever want to spend a peaceful time in Jerusalem

We would recommend Dudy!

Dudy was a great Host! Of the small things that bothered us, he alaways found a Solution ! He was very freindly, very nice, very helpful and informative and speaks English well

It is "outside" the city, so 10 Minuten with the Tram one must understand / know about. One must walk down many steps to the apartment and when you leave with much Suitcases...Our Room 88 was very small

Very disappointing. If you want quiet its not your place

The room was very small though it had a comfortable bed.

The room is actually part of an apartment. Very noisy: I could hear everything that was discussed in the living room and in the kitchen like it was next to me in the room. Couldn't sleep for the most of the nights because the owner starts cooking late at night (after 11pm, then he starts cleaning or doing some extra stuff in the house until 2-3 am), banging things, painting, vacuuming etc. To go through the terrace you need to pass through another room which is also rented, so if you feel comfortable to disturb other guests is fine. I arrived a bit earlier and being that I was with my grandma who is walking with a cane, I tried to contact the host to let the luggage there. He did not answer my texts or calls but after a few hours after I have raised a complaint with booking.com An overall very disappointing accomodation

Very nice and clean place with beautiful viev of the city, close to the tram witch takes you to main atraction of the city. The ovner very helpful at any time. I highly recommend the place.

Fabulous

Nice location, free parking.

The room had no key, we had to leave it unlocked. Room was parfumed too much, it almost destroyed my nose 😉
