Welcome to my home in the heart of the historical center downtown Copenhagen. This is the most cosy, lovely, artistic, historical, hip, local, charming area in Copenhagen. The very heart of Copenhagen, called the Medieval historical city, and latin quarter. Here you find everything at your doorstep from cafes, restaurants, canals, museums, Tivoli, shopping at Strøget (the pedestrian shopping zone), parks, main station etc - and still you are at totally peace and calm in my apartment, as it is placed in a closed yard in the back house, withdrawn from the street and the city. Here you are in a green yard and garden. And my apartment at 1st floor also has a private balcony, where you can enjoy the flowers and garden and relaxe The apartment has a bedroom with 180 cm wide double bed and super quality madrasses, a combined living and dining area with access to the balcony, and a modern kitchen with all you need for cooking, and also a modern bathroom with a large shower. The building is a restored and carefully maintained historical classic Copenhagen building. It is a private owners building, and we take outmost care of it and the common yard garden, which is full of plants and flowers, and you are welcome to use the table and chair for a quiet pause from sightseeing, for a rest in the sun in this private garden. In our street Sankt Peders Stræde you find excellent restaurants, cafes, conditor, bakery, hairdresser, bycicle rent, dry clean, super market - all you may need at your doorstep. I warmly welcome you to my home, and I will look forward to hosting you here in this authentic old Copenhagen. More local it doesnt get. Though in the Capital of Denmark, this neighbour hood is very local, we are 300 inhabitants in this city center neighbourhood around the city Hall, called “Nørre Kvarter”, and we all almost know each other. It is very charming and safe. We meet for morning coffee at the cafe “Next Door Cafe” (also the best coffee in town and home made bakery, food and cakes to die for), owned by an American California / Danish Copenhagen couple, Skyler and Klaus. Dont miss out on this spot. It is right at the corner from my building. I will of course have bedsheets, towels, kitchen cloths etc for you. You also find hairdryer, hand soap, washing liquod and so on, for your use. If I am at home I will be pleased to welcome you and if I am away, there is a key box at the gate and one at my apartment. Always leave the keys in the boxes when you exit the apartment and building gate. Welcome to my home here in Copenhagen❤️

Charlotte's cosy flat (with a very comfortable bed) is located in a quaint area, central and yet absolutely quiet. We had four wonderful days and were able to explore all the sights on foot. Charlotte was very helpful with any questions we had. Many thanks to the friendly hostess!

We spent a terrific week in Charlotte’s apartment. It’s just two and a half blocks from the Rådhuspladsen Metro station. You can catch the Metro at the airport.
Across the street from the apartment are two outstanding restaurants: Vækst and Meille. At a little shop a few doors down the street you can get your laundry and dry cleaning done.
Other excellent restaurants reasonably close to the apartment (10-15 minutes by foot) include Høst, Krogs, and Zeleste. The last two specialize in seafood.
Copenhagen has a terrific Metro, but it is also one of the world’s most walkable cities. The “Stroget” is the unofficial name of the main shopping street, which begins across from the Rådhuspladsen and runs to Kongens Nytorv.
We downloaded the Copenhagen Card app. It costs nothing to look at the 80+ museums and tours it covers. It also provides access to the Metro and regional trains if you want to see the Elsinore Castle, Louisiana Museum and other venues outside the city. We got the five-day version and figure we saved about $35 USD in entrance fees and Metro and regional train fares. If this is your first trip to Copenhagen, you may want to start with a harbor boat tour.

Charlotte was a perfect host. She was easy to communicate with leading up and through my visit. The apartment is in the perfect location…very walkable. And the apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you could need!

I lived in and worked from this apartment for the month of July and it was perfect. I loved having doors and windows open all day. The space was as charming as it appears in the photos and the location is ideal- close to anything you want but on a quiet street. The only thing I would warn about or would have liked is a dark curtain for the bedroom window. Sleeping was a challenge this time of year when it’s light most of the time.

My wife and I recently stayed at this cute and comfortable apartment ideally located within walking distance to most of Copenhagen's tourist destinations. It was impeccably clean and has a refreshing balcony overlooking the building's courtyard. A perfect place for our afternoon Fika. After staying in fairly tiny hotel rooms the previous few nights in Norway and Sweden, we were thrilled to stay in this very spacious apartment. The bed was quite comfortable and there were several chairs and a sofa for lounging around. The neighborhood itself has numerous restaurants and shops; our favorite bakery was just a 2-minute walk from the apartment. We always felt safe in the apartment and in the neighborhood. We communicated with the friendly owner a few times and she was very responsive. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Copenhagen!

The location of the apartment was incredible. It was walking distance to everything we could possibly want or need. Churches, palaces, gardens, museums, restaurants, coffee shops, trains and more were all nearby.
The apartment was great and had everything we needed. Located in an old building looking out on a courtyard, it was wonderfully European. The apartment was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and it was great to come back at the end of a long day of sightseeing and relax.
Charlotte was really responsive and answered all my questions promptly. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place in the heart of Copenhagen.

We loved the central, easy location of this cozy apartment, which had everything a couple might need. Near the metro and easy walking to most sights, on the 1st floor of a quiet building, we got exactly what the pictures showed when opening the door. It was extremely clean and well equipped, too. The host was away, but no matter - communication and check-in went without a hitch. Highly recommend!!

Very nice flat in a central part of Copenhagen. Communication with Charlotte was great. The flat is close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment- Tivoli is just up the street 😊. The kitchen is fully stocked and easy to use. Public transport was convenient and easy to use from the flat. For a wonderful stay in Copenhagen, this is the place to be!

We had a tiny bump getting in to the building on the first day but Charlotte was quick to respond and help. The floor is a little slanted, yes, but that's what happens in charming old buildings in Europe! The apartment was peaceful, the perfect size for us, and in a great location and neighborhood. We loved having a short walk home from Tivoli at night! The washing machine wasn't working while we were there - if/when it is functioning this apartment would be a perfect five.

We really enjoyed our first time In Copenhagen and Charlotte made it so easy. Starting with the first snow of the season to the quint coffee shop and the best cinnamon roll spot down the street.
It was so comfortable to cuddle up on the couch at night and plan our next day.

I travel a lot to Europe and always try to stay in private apartments rather than hotels and this place has made it to my short list of great apartments that I would recommend to family and friends and that I would go back to.

We loved the cozy and charming feel of this apartment. The location was central, close to the train/metro, shopping, dining and many of Copenhagen’s tourist destinations.
Charlotte was amazing as a host. Instructions for getting to her place as well as checking in were clear and easy to follow. She met us on site to give us a bit of a tour and was accessible to us for the duration of our stay if we had any questions.
We highly recommend this accommodation for your stay in Copenhagen. You won’t be disappointed.

Felt Like Home
The owner was very accommodating. She helped me figure out the Metra and was very responsive to messages. Her place felt like home. I enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony that overlooks the courtyard with the tiny lights on. The location wS fantastic in the center of Copenhagen. I could walk or Metro to the places I wanted to see. There were plenty of outlets which allowed lots of lights inside the apartment. The WiFi was fast so I could work. Great experience.

Geweldig verblijf
Het appartement van Charlotte ligt in een rustige straat maar meteen om de hoek zit je in de gezellige drukte van café’s en restaurants. Op loopafstand ook van de mooie winkels, musea, terrassen en gezellige binnenstad. Locatie is perfect.
Het appartement is volledig ingericht, heel schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, er ontbreekt echt niets!
En dan tenslotte Charlotte zelf: een vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw die ons wegwijs heeft gemaakt en klaar stond als we hulp nodig hadden.
Zeker een aan te raden adres voor een bezoek aan Kopenhagen.

A completely charming flat in the very best location in Copenhagen
My husband and I loved our stay at Charlotte's flat in Copenhagen. It is a 6-minute walk from the Nørreport station which connects you directly to the airport and other destinations of interest (e.g., the Louisiana Museum). There are plenty of great shops, restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance. One restaurant/café that Charlotte recommended in a note that she left for us was the Next Door Café which is just around the corner and which we used nearly every morning for coffee and/or breakfast. A truly fantastic little restaurant with great customer service. A sign at the counters reads, "Be Friendly or Leave." :)
From the flat, it is also walkable to Tivoli Gardens and to some great museums and shopping districts in Central Copenhagen.
The building in which the flat is located is friendly and quiet. On our first night there, one of the tenants and his friend were sharing a bottle of wine out in the courtyard and asked us to join them for a glass. The courtyard is quiet at night and allows for easy, uninterrupted sleep.
Charlotte was extremely communicative and made our stay delightful and rewarding with her recommendations and care for our experience.
We highly, HIGHLY recommend this flat and will gladly stay there again on our next trip to Copenhagen. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found it.

Absolutely ideal
This is an absolutely charming apartment with EVERYTHING one could possibly desire. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the bed is super comfortable. The balcony, when the weather is nice, is a wonderful spot. The location is perfect: just a tiny walk to the train station and really in heart of everything. But the best part is the host! Charlotte was so thoughtful, so communicative, and so accommodating. I felt perfectly at home and very well taken care of. I'm lucky to have had many wonderful VRBO experiences, but this was the best of all. I will be eager to stay here again on my next trip to Copenhagen!

not a good stay
Owner didn't bother telling us that the floor was leaning more than 10 degrees. Also the owner expected the property to be perfect upon our leaving, therefore do nothing to earn the cleaning deposit. She tried to charge more for standard cleanup. Be very wary of this property.
