A great option for bigger groups who want to all be together but still have their own space! * Reserved parking for 5 vehicles * Newly renovated and impeccably furnished * Quiet, safe residential neighborhood * 2 blocks away from the beach and boardwalk * 4 blocks from Tropicana and Boardwalk Hall Convention Center * 6 blocks away from Caesar's The space This renovated spacious 3 story house sleeps up to 16 people and is ideal for big groups of family and friends! The house is a 3 story triplex. There are two separate entrances, one for the top two units and another for the bottom unit. Centrally located at the heart of Atlantic City, it is within 4 blocks walking distance away from the boardwalk, the beach, Boardwalk Hall Convention Center, The Tropicana, and all the top restaurants such as Dock's Oyster House, El Charro, and White House Subs. It is also a 5-10 minute car/Uber ride to the hot casinos Hard Rock, Oceans, and Borgata as well as the Tanger outlets. What you'll get when you arrive: * High speed WIFI / internet throughout the house * Beautifully furnished bedrooms * Newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms * Clean linens, towels and bathroom essentials * On-site laundry facility (washer + dryer) * Walking distance to casinos, retail centers and restaurants Guest access The whole house Other things to note Important: If you are looking to party, play loud music, get drunk and rowdy, or talk loudly outside after dark, this house is not for you. The neighbors are very sensitive to noise and will call the cops if they are disturbed. In fact, many police officers live in the neighborhood. If we get a noise complaint from our neighbors your stay will be immediately canceled with no refund. Thank you for your understanding.

We inquired about early check in in the requested 24hr period, didn't hear back, no answer. I called 10 hours before the regular check in (7am) -- finally heard back at 10am while we were en route. They apologized for the inconvenience in our stay, they found a major leak in the property during their final inspection. Well -- that could've been communicated, instead of leaving me with no response the entire 48hr period before our stay. To reconcile, they luckily had a similar property nearby with 1 less bedroom. Already ON OUR WAY to the property, we agreed to check it out online, and accepted the new place over the phone. We get to the neighborhood of both houses and immediately saw someone steal a license plate, hide from police, & put the license plate on another car.... As far as 55 South Dover, the 'backup house' (the other house in Boardwalk's management) is concerned: Get in the house, it SMELT funky and strange everywhere. We had to by Lysol. In the house-- Dust everywhere, and looks like wood finishing over some of the walls and radiators. One of the moldings had a Rice Krispie Treat in it, & we even found sausage (like, for breakfast) in the moldings. WTF!! Some closets don't even look like they were finished. Still confused that the 'master' had a 2ftx4ft room that looks entirely unfinished too. The 'back patio' was like a 4x4 deck space uses geometry to avoid the power lines hanging directly over deck. On our way out, we saw someone get shot outside....

Was not easy to park our 12 passenger van on the side of the road, but in overall it was nice staying in this house

We are a group of eight senior men who gather for three days of golf each October. This property suited our needs fairly well. It was clean, quiet, and had good beds. Somewhat on the downside I would say that the tv watching area is quite small for a unit of 10 bedrooms and the dining table (which is in the kitchen as there is no dining room) seats maybe four. On night one we got takeout and balanced the food on our laps. Also be aware that the two bedrooms at street level have no internal connection to the main living floor- you must go outside then up the exterior stairs. Also, on vrbo there are fifty somewhat redundant photos including nine of one particular bed but no photos at all of the exterior facade. I can perhaps understand this as the exterior is not particularly inviting but I feel it still should be shown. The neighborhood at first gives pause but before long we saw that it seems stable with parents walking their kids to school in the morning. There is a mix of properties, good and not so good. Also a positive is that so much is in walking distance including Dock's, Angelo's and Maria's for a great breakfast, and casinos. Overall this is a decent and well priced property for a group.
