I like how the location has a 7/11 nearby. The rooms were clean. They gave you a free water bottle every time you left. Pool was clean and well maintained. Social area was clean and accommodating to everyone even after hours. Staff were very friendly and accommodating too.
The only thing that I found strange was that the bathroom had just a blurred kind of vinyl on the glass. no actual walls for the bathroom , just glass with vinyl that barely covered anything up if you were in the bathroom. As far as I know, not all rooms have just the clear vinyl but thats what our room had anyway.

This is the first time I've stayed at Hotel Ordinary in Bangkok. Ideal location situated across the road from
Ratchaprarop station which is on the direct train line to the airport.
The hotel and room were clean and tidy. Check in was smooth.
And the air conditioning was brilliant in the heat of Bangkok. I slept very well in a cool room.
Also as I was in transit, my schedule didn't fit a normal hotel stay, and the hotel was accommodating about this.
There is refrigerated beers (I didn't see any truly local beers though) and drinks available to buy on site. Alternatively, there is a 7-Eleven next door.
My only slight complaint/concern is I received a WhatsApp message asking me for card details to confirm my stay from a phone number in Brazil. They seemed to have all my details for the stay.
However, as I booked through Booking.com, paid fully at the time of booking, and all the previous messages to the hotel were through Booking.com, I did not acknowledge the message and certainly was not about to give out card details over WhatsApp.
I suspect it was scam. I meant to mention it to the hotel, but forgot.

Loved the room we stayed most especially the bidet in the restroom and the hot/cold water shower. Staff were all polite. Breakfast was perfect to get you going for the day.
The light on the counter next to the tv on the wall was too bright and blinding. We kept it off the whole time.

It’s located next to an extremely busy road, with loud noise 24 hrs a day resulting in little/no sleep.
