A beautiful cabin built in 2018 with modern appliances and amenities. Come spend your anniversary, honeymoon, or quiet weekend here in the tranquil atmosphere of Hickory Moon. If you want to kick back and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Broken Bow/Beaver's Bend and celebrate your special event, then look no farther. This custom built cabin, nestled into the pine and hickory forest, was built to enjoy the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. The cabin features 1 bedroom and a spacious spa inspired full bathroom, with a large open vaulted living/lodge area designed for entertaining, and just relaxing. The cabin is 840 square foot, built with hardwood hickory, cedar, stained concrete and warm tile accents. The interior is tempered with central heat and air. The outside features a front and back porch spanning the length of the cabin. The porch is perfect for calm mornings that brag cool temperatures, and neat amenities that invite you to relax and enjoy the view. If you own a boat or RV and plan on utilizing it on the lake or in the park, there is an area as you pull in the drive that will suffice for all your storage needs. The rock drive to the cabin makes it easy to back into and out of the designated parking area. No need to park on the road, there is plenty of room for 2 or 3 cars. The Hickory Moon bedroom features a king size bed, will sleep 2 comfortably, with a maximum of 3 using the couch in the living area! The Spa Bathroom has a relaxing tub, and the shower boasts a large tiled double walk-in. You will notice the Rain Shower heads coming from the 140 year old beams that were reclaimed and resorted from a Vermont historic barn. The shower was masterfully built with custom tile and premium shower components. Hickory Moon makes fixing meals at the cabin inviting. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, oven, stovetop, dishwasher, and disposal. Also included are plates, glasses, cups and utensils. Additionally, you don't have to worry about lugging your dirty clothes back home as there is a washer/dryer in the Utility Room. Entertainment and celebration is what Hickory Moon is all about! There are two dining areas, including an outdoor dining area. If you want to grill, feel free with the charcoal grill located by the firepit. Spend a little time relaxing in the evenings by the fire pit, or just hang out on the porch with your family or friends. One of the great aspects of Hickory Moon is its proximity to the lake and trout fishing habitat, as both are only 2.5 - 3 miles away. Go spend the day out on the lake, or pick up your fishing rod and try your luck on the river. The Lower Mountain Fork River is known as one of two year round cold water fisheries in the state of Oklahoma. It has been featured on Trout Unlimited's 'The Rise' television show, and has gained national recognition as a wonderful trout stream. Just take the time and check out the Evening Hole (restored by Trout Unlimited and the Lower Mountain Fork River Foundation) and you will see what we are talking about. Take the family horseback riding, or just jump in a tube or canoe and take a float down the river. There are too many things to do here! This place was perfect! Cabin was fully stocked, so clean, and close to everything. Pictures really don't do it justice and we can't wait to come back for our anniversary again next year.

Our stay was great. Definitely enjoyed bringing in the New Year quietly there. The only thing I might suggest is to get an antenna to pick up local stations ? Since this is not on satellite or cable. Not sure if an antenna would do this in that location.

My husband and I loved our weekend getaway here. The cabin was very nice and exceptionally clean. The location was excellent for Beaver’s Bend State Park and to restaurants and breweries. The bathroom is amazing! It’s huge and beautiful. We also enjoyed the two sided fireplace and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and the coffee and tea were a nice touch. Great communication from the host. We highly recommend this cabin.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed this property!! It’s pretty convenient to all the restaurants and shopping areas as well. Everything is within 10 minutes of each other but the cabin is down a quiet street so the louder main road area is a non issue. The hottub was great!! If I had to complain about anything, the pillows on the bed were really flat and need replacin’ in my opinion.

We loved this cabin. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware AND a complete set of knives. The ability to cook in this cabin was easy. We watched s die with her baby grazing next to the cabin every day. We will rebook for our trip next year. Thank you for a great cabin!

We really enjoyed the property!! The cabin was clean and very well done. It was a super nice place to stay. The hot tub on the back porch was really nice and offered a bit of privacy. The cabin is in a very good location for seeing things in Hochatown, Broken Bow Lake, and Beavers Bend State Park. We would stay here again if in the area!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! it was so clean, and easy to access. Communication was quick and helpful. We could see our neighbors through the trees but felt that we had a lot of privacy still. The hot tub was clean and heated, and there were snacks and coffee/tea in the kitchen. I'm so glad we booked this location for our 4 day/3 night getaway. We didn't try the fireplace so I can't comment on that. The manager messaged us that he had the replacement part for the broken recliner but we preferred no visit so it will likely be fixed for the next person. *The only thing I would change is I wish there were more bath towels and wash clothes available. There were two of each so if we wanted a clean washcloth the next day, we needed to wash them (there is a washer/dryer available) but if you don't want to bother and your staying more than over night you may want to bring some with you. Thank you David, we would definitely book your comfy cabin again!

The fireplace did not work and that is why I booked here. We had stayed in the past and really enjoyed the fireplace. I reached out to the property manager and she said she would be by to fix it but never came during our stay.

I wanted to go somewhere different for my birthday and a coworker suggested Broken Bow and I found Hickory Moon online. Loved the welcoming bear. Lol. The cabin was beautiful inside and spacious. It was definitely accurately described and had all the amenities one could ask for. The location was perfect. There were nearby cabins but you wouldn’t have known because of the quietness of the area and was in great proximity of restaurants and activities. The check-in process was easy and communication with the host and manager was great. I would highly recommend Hickory Moon and would definitely rent again.

The cabin was perfect for my husband and me. We enjoyed all of the amenities of the cabin! The only downside (and it was minimal) was the road noise from the main road while sitting out and enjoying the view off the back porch.

My wife and I wanted to unplug and relax... ALONE... and this was the perfect place to do it! The cabin is exactly as described. We really enjoyed the hot tub and spent time there every evening. We grilled steaks on the gas grill that was provided. The bed was very comfortable! And we loved the electronic movie theater recliners in the living room!

If you are forced by bad weather to stay inside for two days Hickory Moon is the the place to be. It is a perfect retreat and my wife and I had a great stay. Our hosts were wonderful and the cabin is snug, neat, and perfectly laid out for two people to have a wonderful time.

The cabin was stocked with coffee and hot tea packets and the essentials and soaps and shampoo and lotion like a hotel! The cabin was very clean and so beautiful. I think the bathroom and hot tub was our fave thing!
