I was looking for a place in the vicinity of Okemo and the other mountains in the area that wouldn’t break the bank when I found this place. It was absolutely wonderful. Hosts are super helpful, their property is in great shape, clean, and well stocked. Especially appreciated the kitchen which has everything you’d need to whip up anything from a post-mountain hot chocolate to a full meal. Only downside (which was totally not the fault of the property owners and which I only mention to be aware of) was the deep ruts in the dirt road, but that was kind of expected for a dirt road during a prolonged rain event.

My family and I had a fabulous stay at Kirk and Cathy’s home. It was fully equipped with added details for our comfort such as extra blankets, a high chair, and kids toys! I would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in Vermont to ski or hike with a family.

A single family house with room for seven. Full kitchen, laundry room. There were seven of us staying to ski at nearby Okeemo. The kitchen has everything you need which helps when catering for lots of people. It was quiet and warm and just a great space for spending time with each other.

The house is only about 15 minutes from Okemo and close to other ski resorts. It was very clean, check-in and check-out were easy, and the hosts were very responsive. The house, and hosts, met all of our needs, and we had no issues whatsoever. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

We really love this quaint place. Cathy and Kirk make everything very easy and transparent. The place fit two adult couples and my two children (5 and 7) comfortably. We really appreciate the little extras like chocolates, coffee, and games offered at the house. Looking forward to our third trip here next winter.

Cathy and Kirk’s home was the perfect amount of space for our family’s stay up in Vermont. It’s in the adorable town of Weston, only about a mile up the road from the Weston Country store and the Vermont Country store. They were amazing hosts who communicating clearly throughout the entire booking process. Highly recommend and would stay with them again!

Our group of 5 had a wonderful weekend stay here, our second visit to this host/hostess! They were so good about communicating with us and doing their best to keep ahead of the shoveling/snowplowing since we received 2+ feet of snow just after we arrived! Beautiful and very Christmasy! A great start to our week for the holiday. Thanks so much!

very nice clean property.The host paid a lot attention to details like free coffee,cream amd cookies.They also left a bottle of honey which proved a blessing in disguise’s my daughter had bad cough that day and the honey helped her a lot.We will definitely book this property again

This was our second time staying at this property and just love it there. Great location- easy drives to Londonderry, Manchester, Weston and Weston Priory, Chester, Grafton, Ludlow, Okeemo and Stratton. House has everything you could possibly need to live like you are home. Highly recommended, we’ll be back!

Perfect for two families

The place works very well with our two families with 3 kids age 7 to 9. Place is clean and well organized. Have all that we need for cooking, space for board games and fun. Hosts are quick to respond. They are super nice people and help send back my forgetful husband's phone charger! Looking forward to stay there again!

Kirk and Cathy’s home was perfect for our family get away. The kitchen is very well stocked and the large living room / dining room combo was wonderful for hanging out / conversation. Each bedroom had its own space to allow for chill time when needed and the beds are all comfortable. A wonderful location to several ski mountains of varying difficulty. A short drive to the market and some local restaurants (we had take out from Jake’s due to an injury) and their burgers, pizza and calzones were fantastic. Kirk and Cathy were very gracious with our time and their concern with our injury situation was very calming. Thank you very much for making a stressful situation a bit easier! Great hosts and we hope to have a do-over next year!

When we arrived we enjoyed how quaint the house was. It was perfect for 6 people and plenty of space. The house was exactly what we expected and the only downside was that it was a 15-20 drive to Okemo. HOWEVER, we knew that when we booked it and you couldn't beat the price. We would happily stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family. It was close to multiple ski mountains and was the perfect place to come back to. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The living area was very comfortable and my kids enjoyed playing the games that were there. We hope to stay again in the future!!

We had a great stay at the property for the weekend! We came to the area to visit the Weston Priory and attend prayer services and found the location just outside of Weston to be very convenient to the Priory and to the shops in Weston and Londonderry! The house is very clean, well set up and cozy, and had plenty of space for our group. The kitchen is a bit smaller than we expected from the photos, but was very well equipped with absolutely everything we needed for cooking together and the dining room and living room area is spacious and very comfortable. Our hosts were great about communicating and answering questions promptly. We would definitely stay again if available for our next visit!
