We had a great experience getting together with family and enjoying the lake. The little ones really enjoyed the playroom and the outside playhouse. There was something for everyone to enjoy and Jackie was a wonderful host!

Jackie was great as a host, and we really enjoyed the house. The kitchen was fully equipped, and beds were comfy. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evenings watching the sunset and the blue heron catching fish. The furniture was all very comfy and it felt like home. We also liked using the kayaks and paddle board. Jackie is very accessible for any questions and I highly recommend this house. 👍😀

First, Jackie is a wonderful host and a nice person. She took the time to meet with us and make sure everything was in order. Second, the house itself is fantastic and looks just like the pictures. It has a very nice, cosy feel and it is clear that the owner is committed to maintaining and improving the house. It was immaculately clean which was important for our group as we had some who have allergies and sensitivities. The great room was an excellent spot for gathering and hanging out together. We are a three generation family so we needed spaces for the younger kids (actually and in heart) to play (few of the houses I saw on Lake Fremont have as large a lawn, a sandy beach, and a swimming area in from of the house) while at the same time being accessible (only a couple of steps) for older, mobility impaired adults. As with a lot of MN lakes, there are weeds and lily pads close to shore but the owners have taken great pains to keep the water area in front of the beach clear which made it great fun (soccer goalie on the lily pad anyone?). There is also a wide assortment of floating vehicles (canoe, kayaks, paddle boards) so that we had a flotilla at times on the lake. The pellet grill allowed our "grill master" to prepare tasty meals and there was plenty of seating for all. The adults in our group were all saying they would rent here again. Five stars all around!

Jackie was an amazing host and her place is fantastic. It's clear that she cares for her guests and takes great pride in her rental. It has pretty much everything you can think of. The water toys were great to have/use and the lake was beautiful. I highly recommend this rental/location. Having a TV upstairs would have been nice. Also, the water is quite shallow in areas so I wouldn't recommend diving off the dock.

We had a group of 8 women who wanted to get together for a girls weekend and birthday celebration. The location was ideal and the space was perfect. We enjoyed the lake, bon fire, ducks and just being outside after a long winter. Jackie was great to work with and accomodating. The only thing we would change is outdoor lights that came on at 9 as we would have sat outside longer but the mosquitoes were coming out. We had a blast and would rent again!

Can't say enough positive things about our stay at this property! We had a group of six adults that came up for a snowmobile event at ERX Motor park in Elk River. Jackie (host) was excellent, stopping by to make sure everything was in order and gave us input on restaurants and activities near by. The home was perfect for six adults, very clean and all the amenities that were advertised. Parking was also large for our equipment and trailers, which is rare to find. The trail was close to the house, which made the location an excellent choice for our weekend. Will certainly plan to stay here in the future and would highly recommend this property. Thanks Jackie for your warm hospitality and wonderful property! We will certainly recommend it to our friends and family!

This house is nothing short of amazing! You won’t regret booking this house. It’s so quiet, peaceful and comfortable. The house is located on a huge lake lot that is so nice for the kids to play in the snow and has a huge playroom which my kids LOVED - huge hit! This house is very clean and cozy, and it looks way better in person than in pictures so don’t hesitate like i did and just book it because you will not regret staying here.

Was the perfect spot for us and our family for a holiday get together. Our Grandchildren loved the play room as we did it keep them busy. Jackie our host was great and we had everything we needed at the cabin. We will look to rent this again in the summer.

This property is so cute and comfortable! Situated right on the lake, it provides beautiful views, feels quiet and private yet is close to town. We were thrilled with the extra play space for our son. A really homey feel and very clean. Jackie communicated very well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to visit again in summer. We had a really great, relaxing weekend. The cabin was clean, open, and really nice. I would highly recommend it. Very nice area and beautiful location. No real concerns. My group just wished there was a tv on the main level, but that’s not a deal breaker. I would go back anytime of the year. We did a weekend in October, planning to staying all weekend and it was perfect. Close to shopping and any necessity you needed, but also felt like you were away.

This is a well appointed comfortable cabin. We utilized the kayaks and paddle boat, and our whole family was able to partake. Jackie was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. My grandchildren loved the toy room and the sand to play in on the beach. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything the home had to offer.

We spent the weekend at this wonderful home. I was with 3 of my sisters, my two daughters and one niece. We went for a crafting weekend. The place was perfect for that. Jackie met me at the home to go over everything with me and checked in with us during our stay. She couldn’t have been more gracious or helpful. Her pantry items were very well stocked - we had all we needed. We even got a chance to get out on the water with kayaks and pedal boat. Great location, home and hostess!

We chose this place because we were traveling here for a bmx race, it was a great location to travel to and from the track. We had a couple of issues that Jackie addressed quickly. The only down side was that we were unable to enjoy the water activities due to the weather, but definitely cannot control that.

We were traveling to Minnesota to see family and wanted a place to relax and have fun together. This lake house was above and beyond what we were hoping for. The toy room inside the house and the sand/water toys outside were perfect for the kids. We all enjoyed riding in the paddle boat and the kayaks too. It's so well stocked that there is something for everyone. The inside of the house was super clean and had everything we needed. The host was so helpful too. We are really grateful we found this house for our family getaway!! We will definitely stay here again next time we come for a visit.

We spent a long weekend at Jackie's beautiful lake house, which comfortable fit our group of 4 adults and 3 young children. The sandy beach and playroom were perfect for our kids. There is an amazing collection of beach toys, kayaks, stand up paddle board and life vests, anything you could wish for to enjoy the water! The house was sparkling clean, kitchen was well equipped, and there is a large deck for outdoor dining. Jackie was very attentive during our stay and easy to reach in case of questions. We will definitely be back!

We have a 5 & 9 yr old son. This place met the whole family’s needs and desires. - Proximity to metro & St Cloud - Great layout inside and out. - Impeccably updated, furnished, decorated, and maintained. - Crawl space turned into an amazing, heavily used play space for the kiddos. - Perfect spot on a great lake. Clean, great fishing. The bay is nice and quiet with calm waters. - The beach is an absolute gem. Rock and weed free. A bit of a drop off a few feet out, but still the best beach we’ve ever had for the kids. - Water toys galore! Nothing motorized provided, but that was perfect for us. - This was the 3rd VRBO property in 4 years that we have rented to get some summer lakeshore quality family time. All 3 properties have been great, but this property was far and away the best. Definitely coming back.

This is our second summer renting from Jackie! So easy to work with and checks in to make sure things are going ok. Love the lake home so much and has all the amenities you need. We rented a boat this year and almost had the lake to ourselves during the week👍 Would highly recommend😊

We had such a great experience staying here! We have two kids under five and stayed with friends who also had little kiddos. This was so perfect for us. Plenty of room for our two small families for sleeping and privacy when needed. The beach was great, sandy and lots of toys, life jackets, and water gear for kids and adults. The playroom was an awesome bonus as well to keep them busy and entertained. The listing and pictures really capture everything accurately which is helpful when planning ahead. There’s really everything you need here, just pack a few essentials and get ready to relax and make some memories. We would definitely stay here again!

Jackie was a pleasure to work with! The cabin met all our needs and then some. The kids stayed active with all the water activities (paddle boards, kayaks, lily pad, fishing off the dock) and the adults loved the large deck to relax and watch them play.

Our family had a great lake vacation. We have four kids ages 3-10 and there was something for all ages to do. Lots of lake toys and a toy room in the house as well. The beach was clean and sandy and we enjoyed the water! Such a fun time and a great location!

Jackie was the best . She showed how to work things in and out of house. Had a list of parks ,restaurants and things to do in the area . Everything you need is here you only need clothes and food. The kids loved the lillypad in the lake. We all took a boat ride with the canoe ,,kayak and pattleboat. My grandson loved the sand toys and trucks. Plenty of life jackets and floating devices. We had the best time would love to go back.

My family (me, my husband, my 5yo and 8yo, and my dad and his wife) had the most fantastic three days at Jackie's house on Lake Fremont in late June 2022. I grew up in central MN but now live in Seattle, and I wanted to give my kids the classic MN lake experience of my childhood. Words cannot describe how perfect this property is for families. The listing does a great job of accurately describing most of the awesome features, so I'll just focus on a few things that aren't necessarily obvious from the listing. The lake is shallow (max depth 8ft) and was a very pleasant temperature for swimming (cool when you get in, but comfortable once you're in). The swimming area right off the beach is sandy and weed-free, just lovely, with a nice variety of depths suitable for all ages. The biggest question I had going into this vacation was whether there would be any decent fishing. The end of the dock at this property has the BEST fishing I have ever seen--my 8yo was over the moon with excitement. My dad would bait the hook with a worm (purchased nearby) and cast the line about 10 feet beyond the end of the dock, beyond a sharp drop-off, and hand his pole to my son. Within minutes or seconds (one time it was less than 20 seconds, I kid you not), he would have a 12-16" bass (I think it was bass, anyway) on the line. He caught four in about an hour (with a good chunk of that time spent getting hooks out of fish throats and putting them in a wire cage, which we found in the boat house, so that they could stay fresh in the water until dinner. Four of these fish were more than enough to feed the six of us for dinner with leftovers to spare, though he also caught and released some small panfish right under the dock. The fishing was the highlight of his trip! My kids also both adored playing on the "lily pad" (large floating foam island tethered to the dock). This house has literally everything you could possibly ask for (though you should bring your own fishing gear--there are a couple tiny kids' poles in the boat house, but they lack hooks/bobbers/sinkers and their lines are too weak to support the size of fish you'll be reeling in). We used the canoe, paddleboat, and kayaks (one of which works great to put a kid between an adults legs). They also had fun in the giant toy room (which I would describe as geared toward kids under 10 or so). It was the best lakefront experience I've ever had--we will definitely be back the next time I bring the kids to Minnesota!

This was the perfect place for us to spend time with family! Such a cute and cozy space. We had everything we needed and more. Cute playroom for kids, tons of fun outdoor stuff for water fun and tons of space inside and out for all to enjoy. The little beach was nice for swimming and we ended up catching so many fish right off the dock.
