The building does not look great from the outside but the decor in the rooms makes up for it. Once inside you feel like you are on the set of a Tim Burton fever dream. The location was good, close enough to the centre that it does not take too long to get there but far enough away that it was peaceful at night. The in-room kitchenette allows you the ability to prepare your own food if in a slightly limited way and the bathroom was of an admirable level of cleanliness and quality. I rarely make a point to mention the hotel staff but they were very helpful, friendly and patient with my stupid questions.
If the exterior and architecture of the building you are staying in is important this may not be the place for you. It was very hot while we were there so air conditioning in the rooms would have made the stay significantly more comfortable.
