Located in Deep Creek Lake, this lovely cabin for $451 per night is a great choice for your next trip. April Sound Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Beautifully tucked away on more than an acre of land in the tranquil forests of Oakland, this cabin is the perfect getaway for a large family or a group of friends looking to relax and explore the wonders of Deep Creek Lake. You'll find a wealth of entertainment at the house, from the foosball table and board games inside to the private hot tub, multiple decks overlooking the woodlands, and gas grill outdoors. Come home each evening to swap stories of your adventures around the wood-burning fireplace and gather at the outdoor firepit to roast marshmallows and gaze up at the stars. Enjoy a CARC Membership with access to a pool, hot tubs, and gym area. This home is both scenically secluded and close to a wide variety of activities in the Deep Creek Lake area. The property is also surrounded by state parks and family-friendly attractions for every season. Head over to Deep Creek Lake State Park (six miles east) to spend a gorgeous day at the beach, or go for a hike from the Swallow Falls Trailhead (six miles west) to wander along the Youghiogheny River on a family-friendly loop in Swallow Falls State Park. You'll be just six miles south of all-seasons fun at Wisp Resort and eight miles north of downtown Oakland's golf course, museums, restaurants, and shops. THINGS TO KNOW There is a 13 night limit on reservations per local regulations. Reservations over 13 nights are prohibited and cannot be honored. WiFi is provided, however, you'll have to use WiFi calling in order to have cell service at the home. Firewood is not provided. Per HOA restrictions, no alcohol is permitted on the community dock. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

PROS: Beautiful house with LOTS of space. Close to the lake as well. Owners provided some supplies to help get started (trash bags, laundry and dish detergent, paper towels and toilet paper) which was a great help. The hot tub was really nice as well. All beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of bath towels as well (bring your own lake towels)
CONS: Would have been nice to have to have instruction for how to get to the lake with their "3 minute walk" (It is down a short walk down the road the house sits on, onto the main road down past a house. Confusing because there is a wooded lot straight in front of the side road that we initially thought we needed to do but still not bad walk, just a lot of stairs so not handicap assess-able) a few remotes did not have batteries, Washer leaked, only one burner on the grill worked, the leaving instructions in the book were not the same that were emailed to us so we ended up having to go back after we left to strip the beds.
If I had an option of giving a 4.5 review I would!

We had a beautiful weekend with a group of 10 adults. Host was communicative. Great views, clean and spacious home. Fully equipped kitchen and up to date commodities. Will definitely be returning.

This was a wonderful house to rent for our 4 day getaway to Deep Creek with 7 adult family members. The kitchen was fully equipped, everything was spotless inside, there were plenty of clean towels. The beds were comfortable and the master suite was the perfect retreat! The house is located in the woods with a quiet road in front which you could see through the trees. The road did not detract from the quiet setting. We saw a bear the last day wandering through the trees and along the road.

This property was perfect for my sister’s surprise 40th birthday party!! Well stocked and spacious, not to mention super clean. I would suggest bringing more toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. And you really do need 4WD if there is any snow or ice on the ground! We would stay there again!

The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed and more. We’d like to return to this particular property in the future and cannot compliment Vacasa enough for their management!

Nicer than the pictures, this is the perfect house for a getaway. Well apportioned, new, and very clean. We had a great time. Wifi could be spotty at times trying to stream a video, that was the only issue. Loved it!

Great location, good amenities, cabin was clean, roomy with very comfortable mattresses. Had a great family get together with the hot tub and outdoor fire, everyone enjoyed themselves. Only concern was low water pressure when showers were simultaneous.

The house was perfect for our family. It was clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was clean. Fire pit was a nice touch. Had some difficulty with entry code but a call to Vacasa resolved the problem.

Perfect for Families!
We love this house and are looking forward to returning many times in the future! It’s impeccably clean and well set up for families! Our only complaint is that the beds are not very comfortable and next time we will bring our own comforters for the beds since only sheets are provided.

Had trouble getting in because we were given a number and then told to hit the “check” which isn’t available. After many tries we found the right code. After each wrong try we had to wait for some time. Not a huge deal but would have appreciated the exact symbol. Everyone enjoyed the house and loved the grounds.

Enjoyed our stay!
Spent the 4th of July weekend there plus a couple days more. We loved it. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. Was very clean upon arrival. The only downside is that there is no service in most of the rooms and the stairs to go up and down the dock can be challenging for some. Other than that 5 star stay. Definitely recommend!

Much needed getaway
The home was beautiful and immaculately clean. It was absolutely perfect for a short trip away with family and we are looking forward to many more trips in the future! Everything was exactly as it looked in the pictures, the owners thought of everything. I can't recommend this place enough!
