A gem of a place! Beautiful inside. We stayed in the Tiger room and it was fantastic. The tatami smelled heavenly. We had a great, comfortable sleep. There was room to relax and hang out. We had the whole place to ourselves but even though it's one building, each room gets its own toilet and shower (down the hallway). We didn't use the kitchen but there were a lot of things there. Tamana is not a big city so we were pleased to find a place there. The host was very kind and gave us lots of information and was able to accommodate our late check-in and early check-out. We only stayed one night but wished we had stayed longer!

Traditional Japanese hotel with gorgeous room decor and cute yukatas for when you get out the bath or want to stroll around the city. There's a well equipped kitchen you're free to use and shops as well as the city's main sights are within walking distance. The rooms as well as the bathrooms were very clean and tidy. Most importantly the staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel really welcome. I would highly recommend this place!
