We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was gorgeous, spacious and very comfortable for our group of five, with stunning vineyard views, beautiful lighting and excellent air conditioning. The pool area was lovely and never felt overcrowded.
The breakfast box and starter essentials were a really thoughtful touch, especially as there are no shops, cafés or other amenities nearby. The host was also very responsive and helpful.
The wine tasting was a lovely experience, and having a private session for our group was a highlight. Our host was fantastic and answered all our questions about the winery.
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and made some lovely memories. We would all happily stay here again in the future and hope to return one day. We’d definitely recommend it!
A few extra basics in the kitchen, spare towels and pillows, and clearer information about Wi-Fi and reception opening hours would have been useful.
We had assumed the wine tasting would take place at the vineyard where we were staying, so hadn’t anticipated needing to arrange transport. We walked there, which in the heat was a bit of a challenge, and the staff very kindly gave us a lift back to the Agriturismo despite their busy schedules. We would recommend double-checking where your wine tasting will take place to ensure you can make the appropriate travel arrangements.
We’d also recommend having a car, as the property is a steep walk from Pontassieve and taxis can be difficult to arrange. We walked down to Pontassieve from the Agriturismo, made use of the train links, and then took a taxi back from Florence. It cost around €100, but it was the best solution for us.

De ligging en het uitzicht. We hadden mooi ruim appartement. Het oudste van de boerderij,
Behulpzame gastvrouw.
Een plek om terug te komen.
De gehorigheid van het appartement boven dat van ons. We hoorden de stappen en konden de stemmen horen.
Wel wat gebruikschade in onze ruimte en een een likje verf kan geen kwaad her en der.

We found the beds a bit less comfortable, but that’s also a matter of personal preference.

The views are exceptional, truly something the Lord made.
The beds were extremely hard. Had a hard time trying to get comfortable I loved this place truly. The only thing needed is updates to the beds.
