Location was great, very walkabale, close to the National Mall, Union Station, Metro station and bus stops. Outside food options aren't very far either either on foot or with public transport.
The bar food was actually pretty good considering it was bar food.
The staff were all very helpful as needed and very friendly throughout!
The room was well-equipped and they had a water filling station downstairs for water bottles which was nice.
Do note that the rooms are a bit compact, but as a solo traveler or as a couple it probably won't be an issue, though friends might have to get a bit comfortable with each other if they already aren't haha
Didn't use the gym but it's a great location to go for a run considering all the monuments and pathways nearby!
They were also kind enough to let my store my luggage there after checkout while I visited for my last day and even let me wait for a bit in the lobby afterwards since my train wasn't leaving til 8:30 at night.
Their system for booking isn't great. I wanted to add another day to my stay and couldn't get a straight answer on how to do that, especially since their system was holding onto rooms for some sort of in-city event on their website, but only some of the staff members were able to explain that to me (and couldn't explain why at first), though they did take the initiative to try to find out. Other sites said rooms were available (but for 300% of the price I paid, no joke...again, seems like some sort of DC event happening. To be expected for the capitol I guess).
NOTE: This may also be compounded due to them merging their systems with Marriot currently as one of the employees mentioned when I first arrived.
Otherwise, as a very small nitpick, they could improve a bit on their beer selections, in particular, for my tastes, I like to try local beers when I'm in a new city and there weren't a ton of options related to that, but it was still fine enough overall.
That's really all that comes to mind and that's just personal preference and some poor planning on my part.

Loved the interior decorating. The room while small, was also clean and comfortable.
The hotel is not close to many shops/stores.
