Several friends from around the northeast chose this home as a central location for an annual meet-up. We had dinner out in neighboring Amenia, NY (several nice restaurants there!). The property owner was very responsive and accommodating and the home was very clean and met all our needs. Plus the views out of the picture windows facing west are beautiful! I would definitely go back again.

Though outdated house and in need of some tender loving care this was a wonderful place to say for the view, the walks, and the surroundings nearby!

This is probably the most reasonably priced house I’ve ever stayed in — taking into account size of house, view, amenities and location. View is remarkable for this area. Plenty of room, extremely quiet. It’s at the beginning of a mile-long dirt road perfect for morning walks, and trails starting at the end. Kitchen is very serviceable, not professional grade but more than adequate. Beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Having grown up just a few miles South of the location, I was no stranger to the views afforded from the Berkshire mountains. I have to say, though, that the panorama from the back of the house was beyond all expectations. Had a remarkable view of the Berkshires and the Catskills (some 40 miles away). Sunsets were spectacular, the house was gorgeous, and the host (Gary) was not only helpful, but an absolute joy to spend time with. I highly recommend this place as a destination.
