About this farm stay rental
The Farmhouse was built in 1940 by Andy’s grandparents. For many years, Laughton & Leora Fine opened their home to family & friends! It is a very peaceful place to experience rest & relaxation! Restoring The Farmhouse has truly been a labor of love for our family. We have put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable & updated home for you to enjoy! Our hope is that you & your family will stay & make memories that will last a lifetime!
The Farmhouse has 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, & Keurig coffee maker. There is a separate dining room that seats 6, a living room, & den with TV. We have a small screened porch & back deck, fire pit, & charcoal grill. The Farm has outdoor string lights, sitting areas, picnic tables, fishing rods, kayaks & cornhole!
The farmhouse is secluded from the main road. There are many things to experience on the farm. You may visit the animals, go fishing, or just have a picnic! You might enjoy reading a book, playing games, or maybe even a little yoga under the pecan trees!
We have a good variety of restaurants nearby or you may want to try our Pasture Raised Beef, which we have available for purchase, to experience a Farm to Table meal! You may even gather your own fresh eggs for breakfast!
Our Farm is a member of the NC Agritourism Assoc. & Got To Be NC Agriculture. We are a working Farm & live on the property too. You will probably see us, however, we will respect your privacy. We have a seasonal Farm Store open to the public & hold Agritourism events or a Airbnb Experiences which may be open to the public during your stay. You may contact us directly if you are interested in an event!
We are conveniently located near favorite North Carolina destinations! Many of them are 30 miles or less including the NC Zoo, Morrow Mountain State Park, & the Uwharrie National Forest where you can go hiking or kayaking. We are approximately 2 miles from the entrance to Badin Lake. High Rock Lake & Lake Tillery are also nearby. Gold Hill Historic Park which has a variety of small antique shops along with bluegrass music every Friday evening. The Seagrove Pottery Shops, Dan Nicholas Park, & the Asheboro Airport Museum along withThe Old North State Golf Course are local destinations. Childress Vineyards & Morgan Ridge Vineyards have small restaurants also.

Peaceful and restful! Beautiful Farm, loved seeing the animals and sitting out by the fire at night! We have family nearby on Badin Lake, so got to visit with them, go to the lake, buy fresh local produce and beef, and drive through the Uwaharrie Forest!

Stayed a week for the Old Threshers Reunion event. It was very close to the event and yet far enough away to not be in the hustle and bustle of all the travelers. We enjoyed the property with all the farm animals which were friendly and wanted to be petted.One of the highlights for us was the big pond for fishing. Another highlight was the game room.The hosts were very friendly and responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys privacy on their vacation.

This property was such a delight. We spent our honeymoon there and enjoyed the homey feel, the animals on the property, the walks, the birds, and meeting the owner. We would highly recommend it to anyone who likes a farm setting.
