About this house rental
Located in Lake of the Ozarks, this charming house for $400 per night is a great choice for your next trip. 3rd Night Free Offer: We are currently offering one free night during your next booking of 2 nights or more from October 30th, 2023 until March 27th, 2024, excluding dates that include federal holidays. Book any two nights, excluding holidays, and you can stay a third night for free! Send us your booking request and we will adjust the rate to reflect the 3rd free night. Home Overview: Designed with large family gatherings in mind, this 3,000 square-foot lake home has four spacious bedrooms, and three spacious bathrooms. On the main level, a 23 foot cathedral ceiling exposes oak beams and an oak ceiling, adding to the spacious feel of the Great Room. Two 8' dining tables comfortably seat 16. Two full-sized leather couches provide plenty of seating with a terrific view of the lake and woods. The loft provides an extra sleeping area and has been the location of many spirited Foosball matches. The cedar deck feels like an extension of the Great Room because of the over-sized windows. The deck is pleasantly shaded by the house and oak trees for most of the morning and most of the afternoon. Central air with separate thermostats for the upper and lower levels will keep your group comfortable in any season. The home is built on 100 feet of heavily wooded shoreline. You can keep your boat in the 10'x28' covered dock slip. A second boat can be tied up along the outside finger of the dock. The dock also has a swim platform with a slide, and the location in the cove allows for safe, protected swimming away from boat traffic, while still providing a wonderful view of the lake and easy access to the main channel. Design Layout and Wheelchair Accessibility: The main level, with access to the driveway and deck, includes the kitchen, dining area, living area, master bedroom, and bathroom. The entire main level is wheelchair accessible, including 36 inch doors throughout and a grab bar next to the toilet. There is also a ramp available for wheelchair access from the driveway up two stairs into the main level of the home. If someone in your group has difficulty with stairs, they will find everything they need conveniently located on the main level. The lower level consists of three bedrooms, all facing the lake, and two bathrooms. Sleeping Arrangements: One bedroom has two queen beds (sleeping four). Two bedrooms each have one queen bed (sleeping four). The bunk room has two queen bunk beds (four queen mattresses, sleeping eight) and beneath the bunks is a full mattress that can be pulled out (sleeping 2 more). If you have children in your gathering they'll love camping out together in this room. Finally, there are three queen mattresses in the loft (sleeping 6). Up to 24 can sleep on mattresses, or up to 12 adults can each have a mattress to themselves. Your whole party can sleep comfortably under one roof. (For those of you doing the math, the 25th spot is the crib.) Location and Convenience: Located at mile marker 4 on the North Shore, this home is located 15 minutes or less from: Bagnell Dam, Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, HyVee, Wal-Mart, go-kart tracks, miniature golf, golf, shopping, health care, and a wide variety of restaurants and bars. A convenience store, with a wide variety of goods, is less than 5 minutes away. Adventure Marine is a good choice for boat and waverunner rentals, and it is located less than ten minutes away. The Boathouse Lakeside Bar and Grill is in the cove next to ours and has a great family atmosphere with swim-up bar and separate kids and adult sections in the pool.

We went there as a group of friends and family for celebrating New Year. It was a great stay location was good owner was very responsive and helpful. Property has private access to lake and the patio deck overlooking the lake is a great place to spend time. Overall it was a great stay.
Few points for which I think can be improved:
Some of the utensils are very old and needs replacement, property having three levels heat management was a challenge (lower floor gets very cold whereas higher floor gets hot), Kitchen is bit small for a larger group (more than 10 people). That being said these small points did not take away any of the fun. We had a great place to welcome 2024.

We had a family gathering and had an absolute blast!!! The house was large enough for us all and the foosball table was a hit. We spent most of our time on the large dock fishing and having fun. The water was really clear and we enjoyed swimming as well. I'd highly recommend this location.

Great property with oversized rooms. No one ever felt like they were on top of anyone, we had a group of 24 people age ranges from 5-65. There was plenty of different areas for people to migrate to. I loved the giant dining tables so everyone could eat in the same room together. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans. There was plenty of linens, towels, blankets etc. We didn’t have to leave the property 1 time. The property owners were great too, super friendly and easy to work with and very accommodating. I would recommend this rental if you’re wanting to come to the Ozarks for a weekend stay, nice quiet cove right off the main channel at MM 4. The house is very beautiful as well with great views out of the giant windows. My only advice would be if you were planning on renting this property is to bring your own pillows from home, bring your own chargers with wall plug ins. and to try and carpool as much as you can. (A lot of rental properties have usb plug in areas, this one does not have any- so make sure you bring the boxes that plug into the wall) The parking is limited and the driveway is very steep. The house was super clean as well. Overall great experience.

We wanted to celebrate my mom's 70's birthday, and since we all grew up on the Lake and enjoyed my grandpa's dock as kids, we thoroughly enjoyed this house. The dock was great and the location perfect. The dock's slide needed a little work, but it was a small thing. The hosts were very accommodating and even extended our check-out time for us.

We had a wonderful family vacation. The house easily accommodated the 12 of us. We all had great fun at the dock and in the water. We all enjoyed go karting, Starks Cave, Grandpa’s ice cream, biking the Katy Trail, golfing, and grilling.

Overall cleanliness good except, upon arrival, there was an open party sized bag of Doritos between the two unmade queen beds in the loft. There were also opened snack size bags of cookie and crackers under the covers in one of the top bunks in the basement.

We had a multi-generational group of 12 stay in this home for a week in March. The home was spacious and plenty of room for us all to spread out. We appreciated having 3 bathrooms and 2 full tables. Kids enjoyed the loft foosball table and exploring the rocky shoreline. There were plenty of bath towels, spices, and paper consumables available when we arrived (we replaced as needed). The owners did a great job detailing everything you need to know before you arrive. We did bring our own paper plates/bowls etc and it was nice to have those available so we weren't doing dishes multiple times a day.
Many of the tourist activities were not yet open in mid-March but we enjoyed hiking, seeing the caves, and the Lake Escape room in town. It was nice to spend time as a family at the cabin and although we didn't swim the kids enjoyed the shoreline and dock.

This warm and beautifully wood crafted home allows for spreading out, relaxing, and enjoying lake life. Our family enjoyed it a lot. I agree that the driveway is a little intimidating so I would not recommend it for older vehicles or older guests who need the home and property easily accessible.

We were so grateful to find the perfect place on Lake of the Ozarks for our families to gather and celebrate my nephew’s graduation.

We had a great time eating, playing cards, and watching movies all in the open concept kitchen/dining/living room area. We appreciated having two coffee pots because we like to drink coffee;). Plenty of seating.
We probably should have brought more toilet paper, trash bags, and laundry detergent for our group. Overall, this house had all the accommodations we needed.
