Very peaceful the balcony was very nice the view of the manicured golf course was just beautiful. We don’t even golf. It’s close to Duplin Winery and the Mad Boar restaurant which is really good and casual and has a great friendly vibe.

Shower. Loved the size but needs more pressure and a handheld maybe a few more shower heads

Could’ve been better, but overall comfortable for our length of stay

The space of the house we stayed in fit our group well.

We found bugs on pillow cases and in bathrooms, the toilet in downstairs master bath leans over when you sit down (not overweight). Neighbors kept coming out and standing and staring at us for uncomfortable amount of time while sitting on back deck.

Nice stay all in all, good food in the restaurant, nice big shower with plenty of hot water.

Breakfast was fine, location was fine. The room I booked for my wife and I stated double room with kitchenette, I also booked a room for my son and his wife, neither room had the kitchenette as stated in the booking and the pictures,,.

They could have explained to me the room situation better at the front desk. it was a bit confusing how to get to the room, not being from there and not knowing it was on a golf resort. the booking didn't give that address.

Wonderful stay at River Landing

The accomodations were top notch. Employees like Wanda were extra friendly and helpful. River Landing is absolutely beautiful and serene.

The scenery was great.

When using the appliances or other sockets the the breakers always tripped and we had to keep turning back on the breaker in the unit. and the issues with fishing for my husband which was why we really choice the place on employee was extra with him concerning the fishing until a homeowner said something to him about the fishing and replied to him to leave my husband alone the man isn't messing with anyone and there was no one golfing near them. It was a bitter crazy

River Landing is this beautiful gem set in a small town that I had no idea it was there. We just wanted to stay overnight to go to the Duplin Winery to attend wine tasting, dinner & show. Due to many wedding events in the area that weekend, we had difficulty booking a hotel reservation. I found river Landing through booking.com and thought it was another hotel. To my surprise and complete satisfaction, found that it was cottage suites within a beautiful golf course community. It was spacious, clean, had a beautiful view and very private. We plan on returning again as a little get away. Keep up the outstanding services you provide here.

Beautiful stay! We loved the bathroom, nice beds. Very quiet. Thank you.

Nice that they had snacks, I plenty of toiletries, beautiful room.

Bath robes had make up smudges on them making us think they may hit be clean. And the sheets also had a few smudges that seemed like they would wash off, so we felt they may not have been clean.

The entire stay was great. Of note, the staff at the Holiday Inn Express that took care of things could not have been more helpful. We plan a return trip and have told others about the venue.

Superb

The area was beautiful and worth the trip

I didn’t like that it didn’t tell you, while staying in the clubhouse you have to be a member to eat at the restaurant or to even go swimming at the pool you technically can’t do anything but stay in the room and that’s it.

Very cool location.

I saw 4 cockroaches during my 8 hour stay.... the reason for my low score. Would have been amazing without them. Also the directions to get back to the clubhouse were not clear.
