Get a whole tatami room for a good price. location is close to train station but not much to do in area.

Really close to the kintetsu Shiohama train station (3min by foot) ! I was traveling alone and I got my own room with everything you need ! The bed was also one of the most comfortable futon I've slept on ! The cats are really cute although really shy !

The bathroom itself is a little small but nice, the only unpractical thing is that there are no table or storage near the bathroom to store the clothes. It could be great to add maybe a small table outside of the bathroom

Atmosphere

Host was friendly, and the room was large enough. Although not explicitly mentioned, there was a breakfast. (Some rice, pickles and seaweeds)

There were a lot of mosquitoes.

It was a nice guest house with local atmosphere and hospitality. Sometimes "local" or "traditional" means just old and dirty, but this guest house was very clean and comfortable to stay. If you want know Japanese local and daily life style, you will like here!!
