Overall the property had just what we needed for our group of 5 and the home was comfortable. The location was convenient. The door lock was a little confusing but we finally got it. The property manager was easily accessible via email. The only issue we had with our stay is the property is a bit dated/worn for its price point. The louvered bifold doors in the kitchen were off half of one of the doors and there really is not enough silverware/dishes for more than one meal with 5 people eating.

This is our first time experience staying in a rental house instead of hotel rooms . We are all love it so much . I don’t think we will go back to hotel in our next vacation place instead booking a house from Vrbo . We love so much staying with Vrbo .

The kitchen faucet and downstairs shower faucet were very, very loose, downstairs shower curtain was dirty and some of the slats on the pantry door came off but otherwise it was a nice place. It is too bad some visitors don’t take care of things like they should

Stayed at this property Dec 2022 with my family and our dog. Location is excellent. It's within the Wintergreen resort, very close to skiing/golf/snowboarding/tubing/spa. Another plus was that it allows dogs. Property manager was easily accessible by text.
The reasons I'm only rating it 3 stars:
- Property was poorly maintained -- several broken fixtures and a non-functioning, malodorous dishwasher. It was also not that clean--upon our arrival there was hair on the tub, and under the couch there were dust, a ball and a sock. Utensil organizer had food particles and dust. Yuck. One would think that with an early check out (10am) and late check in (4pm), the cleaners would have enough time to clean the place more thoroughly.
- Check in was not that intuitive. They use Lockly, a door lock none in our family was familiar with. We had to YouTube how to use it.
- Early check in and late check out only made possible by paying a fee. And by the way, I think you can avoid this fee by booking through another site and not vrbo. So why even ask for a fee?
- We could hear our downstairs neighbors quite clearly. This became a bit of a nuisance at night.
I most likely will not stay here again given these undesirable aspects of the place. It's conveniently located though, so if disarray and dirt don't bother you much, then this place could be an okay value for your money.

Stayed over a very cold Christmas weekend. We just loved the place. Clean, quiet, and close to skiing and snow tubing. Ideal location and we hope to be able to come back and visit again soon. Nothing but positives to say about this condo. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Great place and area.
I stayed here with some friends and found the place very nice. I did have a little problem with the lock but Kristen was very helpful in correcting the problem. The unit was as advertised or better. The area is very good off season.

Outstanding Host!
Our stay was wonderful! The condos HOA was supposed to provide firewood and for whatever reason the carousels were empty. When I contacted the hose she replied within minutes and was very considerate. She reimbursed us for the purchase of enough wood for our entire stay without hesitation. We take this trip to Afton annually and we certainly plan on booking with her again each year!!

Owner accommodated our request to check-in early which was much appreciated. While there are stairs to get in to the unit, we found them easy to navigate, even with our dog. We enjoyed our stay. Had a few hiccups but those were remedied. We were disappointed that we could not use the resort amenities like the indoor pool as guests in the condos.

Nice house and good location for skiing
The house was super clean and comfortable with a pretty view over a wooded valley that was gorgeous covered in snow. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children ages 13 and 10, plus two small dogs, and found the house very convenient, perfect for a long weekend skiing at Wintergreen. All beds were great- seemed like new mattresses. The wood floors downstairs made it easy to mop up snow and ice from boots and keep the house clean during our visit. It was really nice to have a wood-burning fireplace, too. The house is a 5-minute drive from the main ski rentals/lift ticket area which was just great for us. Kirsten is very responsive and easy to work with. We would recommend that visitors plan to bring toilet paper, dishtowels, napkins, and any cooking ingredients you will need- coffee, salt and pepper, etc.

Mini break to ski
We very much enjoyed our stay. The property has a lovely view. The dogs enjoyed their walks and my family enjoyed being together playing games, watching a movie and celebrating a birthday. Skiing is so close it was easy to come back for lunch and the aquatic center is walking distance. A perfect mini break, thank you

We booked 3D/2N to ski at Wintergreen. The apartment was located 4 minutes away from the slopes and we were able to go back and forth easily (we also saw the shuttle running, but did not use). The apartment was updated and very comfortable. The owner had a bottle of wine waiting and a welcome card. The apartment was stocked with all of the kitchen utilities we needed, hand soap, dish soap, and a few paper towel rolls. The condo was also stocked with fire starter and firewood is available right outside the building. Thank you for a great time!

An Ideal Long Weekend Getaway!
My husband, pup and I were looking for a close-to-home, nature-filled escape to celebrate Thanksgiving and our anniversary and couldn't have found a better spot than this property. Great location, plentiful amenities and comfortable all around – not to mention, the owner was hospitable and accessible during our stay. We'll definitely be planning a return!
